This place is a hidden gem. The food was so delicious and the tomate de árbol juice was perfectly made. Definitely we are going to come back. IMPORTANT: bring cash !!!! It is worth it.

We drive passes this restaurant everyday. It’s located in a residential area so I can see how it’s skipped or missed. You definitely have to give them a try. The food we ordered was delicious. We had the chaulafan, similar to Peruvian Chaufa and omg!! We ordered a side of maduros and aguacate. Highly recommend.

I been going for many years even with previous owners. They recently had a change of ownership and staff/ cook. The food was also good with the previous owners but it’s definitely been an upgrade now . The place itself is more lively , it use to be a little dim before. Now they have more lighting and authentic Coastal Ecuadorian decor – presentation is inviting . The food is amazing!…it’s a hidden gem for sure , since it’s the cut& small. Love that it’s local and their prices are what’s expected for good food.

Hands down the best Ecuadorian restaurant in Newark for lunch and dinner! Large portions and great quality food. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming. I miss the previous owners will be missed but the current ones know what they’re doing.

The place looks really bad on the outside with graffiti on the walls and they only have a small sign with the name of the restaurant. The place is actually a little bigger inside than you would expect since it looks really small from the outside. Food is decent, nothing outstanding, might be worth a try.
