I’ve come here a handful of times. I can say the food is really good. The drinks are great. A good vibe with or without the music. Just peaceful when you go for brunch here. Not many people know of this place, however when they do. You won’t be disappointed, salmon burger with seasoned fries, a little salad. All so flavorful !

The most vibrant and fun place to spend time in NYC. This cafe’s quality is superb and mind blowing. The décor is imaginative and vibrant, and the food, ahhh, the food. Please give me seconds and thirds. All the items on the menu are scrumptiously delicious and the presentation is simply divine and the drinks are one of a kind. Please feel free to try all the items on the menu from the seafood to the poultry and the irresistible deserts. The vibes here is lively and fun with live music masterfully played by their resident band. If you want a true taste of NY fused with a blend of international cuisine, then Guggin Cafe and Grill should be your destination. Loved, loved it.

The ambiance was great, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. My son said, “mom you must taste the mac and cheese”. I had the snapper fish meal- it was one of the best that I had – I felt like I was in the Caribbean eating fish – seriously.

The food was simple and fresh and absolutely delicious. We had the roasted shrimp with garlic and Guggin fries, plus the fried chicken wings and kale salad. They brought garlic bread that had a strong, addictive black olive flavor while we were waiting. The shrimp has a distinctive roasted flavor that made them almost smoky and the wings were fried with no heavy breading. The kale salad was like the best slaw ever with other veggies and pumpkin seeds and the fries had mixed herbs on them. There’s also a broad selection of Caribbean entrees, sodas, and adult beverages. I highly recommend this comfortable, casual spot.

The staff was very friendly and the owner was nice. I didn’t get a chance to try the food but i did have the sorrel juice. It was a bit sweet for my taste. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful. I would go back again to try their food and see how that goes

Really nice place to enjoy food and music. I even bring my newspaper and books and read outside where there are chairs and umbrella seating. Great people work there and run the cafe.

After searching for a place to have a different GRILLED SHRIMP taste to my pallet, I found this place. I drove a distance for this place due to the reviews. Read that seafood is made fresh to order. I get here at 9:09pm, place my order, very polite, she advises wait time is 20 minutes.
