What the heck happened to Guido’s??? I spent 16 years working at GM Plant 6 in Pontiac and Guido’s was always our go to. The “Big G” as I remember was AWESOME. Had a Deluxe from Hartland tonite. Disappointing. Taste is there but where did the deep dish crunchy delicious crust go??? And whoever cuts the veggies, smaller on the green peppers…you need to fix this.

I ordered my dinner last night after a long day at work expecting the quality “best fresh pizza” that is advertised constantly and to say the least I was definitely disappointed after paying $30 for cold breadsticks, jalapeño bread that was mostly just bread hardly cheese and a blt pizza which had wilted brown slimy lettuce on top in which the manager of the store told me happens when its warm which I knew was a lie since I myself have worked in a pizza place for 5 years. Not to mention he laughed at me and followed that by giving me $5 credit for my food for next time, mind you the pizza I purchased was well over $8 before tax. Needless to say I am disappointed and probably will not be returning to this location again!

We love Guido’s Old World Style Pepperoni Pizza. Like most of their pizzas we’ve tried, it’s loaded with toppings. They do need to work on their flavored crust though. They either forget to put it on, or put it on so lightly we can’t taste it. Our only big complaint is that our pizza is never hot by the time we get home (5 minute drive) compared to the other local pick up pizza joints we’ve tried that a farther away. We always arrive well before we’re told to pick up our order. This could be because the pizza box itself does not hold in the heat as well as their competitors? With that being said, they still make a great tasting pie!
