If you’re looking for a new spot to check out in Shreveport, look no further than Gullo’s. There’s something on the menu for everyone, fish, salads, burgers, wraps, and even chicken fried steak. The restaurant also doubles as a fresh food market where you can find locally grown seasonal produce which is really cool.

BY FAR the best burger you can find in Shreveport. The homemade bun was super fresh, the patty and bacon was incredibly flavorful and juicy. Combined with fresh local produce on top, you can’t beat this burger in shreveport. The sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The store is full of homemade jams, cakes, biscuits, frozen meals, as well as locally grown produce. Gullos is an oasis in the cultural desert of shreveport. The only negative part of this experience was that I didn’t find this place sooner.

Catfish platter was very disappointing. Small bland pieces of fish and soggy cold fries for $20 even though the menu said $13.99. Mediocre coleslaw and tartar sauce. Stick to their burgers if you go here.
