The gumbo tastes like it was frozen at one point. It definitely was not fresh. It was wet tasting and not thick at all. The Mac and cheese taste very boxy and generic. No Authenticity to it. The fried shrimp were okay but a bit salty. We went after five so maybe we got more of a not so fresh batch. We try every place at least one and this place was just not it. The people were nice though!

First, either Nate has never ventured down the pasta aisle or has never progressed beyond the blue box. The lobster mac is delicious. We also had fried shrimp, gumbo and fried oysters, all of which were delicious. Shown are the lobster mac and gumbo. We will be back! Thanks for a delicious meal!

Food was fantastic! Excellent batter and expertly fried, juicy shrimp with a delicious sauce. Get that Po’ boy! The dude working the counter was friendly and had the front of the house on lock. Only downfall was the air conditioning. It was HOT in there- but I’d do it again for those perfectly seasoned fries.

I had the fried fish and my husband had gumbo. Both meals were amazing and well priced. Definitely the best deal ive had on food this good in a long time. The hush puppies were the best I’ve ever eaten. 10 out of 10 will definitely be returning.

Everything on the menu was great. With a party of 9, we took up every table and took food to go. Both the kids and adults enjoyed it. The atmosphere is down to earth and makes you feel like you’re at a family members house enjoying a great meal. I drove an hour to get there, and they did not disappoint. I will be back.

Amazing food and the nicest staff! The lobster Mac & cheese rivals any restaurant downtown Charleston and the seafood? AMAZING. It’s hard to get fresh seafood in the Summerville area. You HAVE to try this place, the catfish nuggets and lobster Mac are must haves, along with everything else on the menu.
