My first time eating here. I ordered Chicken Parm to go. It was sooo good. I’m pretty sure they make the marinara in house. Everything was very fresh and the chicken and pasta were perfectly cooked. Even the side salad was excellent! The bread could use some love. It was rather tough and not much flavor at all. Basically an afterthought. With some compound butter and real grilling, it would stand on its own.

Great, fresh Italian food in generous portions. Not fancy, but good and served very quickly. My lasagna included both beef and Italian sausage and my husband’s rigatoni had mushrooms as well. We had the Pistachio Ricotta Cake for dessert and found it light, creamy and quite tasty. The staff was friendly and accommodating and cleared the used dishes efficiently….many restaurants could learn from their example. We will definitely return to Gus’ Cafe, probably often!

Found this place on the way home from OBX. Have to say I was highly impressed and have to go back! I ordered their New Baked “No Pasta” Bowl. That was awesome! Italian sausage, meatballs, pepperoni and marinara baked with provolone, mozzarella and feta cheeses…now that is what I call a great non-pasta bowl!

Food is good. I had the seafood pizza and it was absolutely delicious even the next day reheated. My appetizer was the bang bang shrimp. The sauce was good. I don’t do spicy so it was a little warm for me, but I’m a wimp lol. Karaoke at 9 is great with great drinks.

I love this place. They food is great and I’ve a customer from the past 5 years. I’m a little disappointed now, about the past 2 times that we ordered food. I expecific asked for what I want on my sub and they did it wrong. I didn’t get what I ordered. The portion that was in the sub was more bread than meat. I just don’t get it and even though when I was on the phone placing the order I repeated my order twice.
