Gus’ has consistently been one of my favorite spots in town over the last 10+ years, but over the last few months it’s really falling off a cliff. The typically great service lately is a 50/50 shot. The quality of the food which is typically great has declined with the quality of service. We ordered salads right before they closed for vacation, and the tins were maybe 60% as full as they typically are. I understand if they were running low on product, however getting charged full price to get half of what you typically get is ridiculous. I never leave reviews on Google, but the rapid decline in quality at this place is crazy. Hopefully the issues of the last few months get resolved and they can get back to being one of the best in town, because when they’re on, there’s nowhere better.

From out of town, but was recommended by Air B&B host. Was largely let down. Pepperoni pizza was average at best, but crust too thick. The Dang Chicken pizza peaked my curiosity given the description, but was a weaker Buffalo sauce. With what felt like 10 pizza spots in the same area, Gus’s didn’t do anything to stand out. Would not recommend going.

New to area looking for a go to pizza place that has a nice traditional thin crust plain cheese pizza. If you’re like me and hoping for that nice crisp first bite with a slight crunch this ain’t it. Not sure if this was an off night because a lot of the reviews for this place are singing it’s praises as life long customers but wow the grease factor was unreal, I had a ton of paper towels handy thankfully but the small cheese pizza was literally fused to the parchment paper with grease. Once I freed it from the paper and patted it down several times with paper towels and tried it it honestly reminded me of Chuck E. Cheese pizza (which I actually like) Really soft crust, good amount of cheese and not too much sauce (I love light sauce on pizza so this was the reason I ate two pieces despite the grease bath and also was ravenously hungry). Jalapeño poppers were decent thought it was weird they put marina sauce with them as the dipping option usually places default to ranch for them. Husband ordered a BBQ pizza said it was fine. Overall this will not be my go to pizza place but it’s not terrible and the order was ready quickly and was accurate.

One of the great old school pizza joints left. Awesome pizza. Great atmosphere. Little place w/ lots of flavor. There’s always cars in their parking lot. With locals picking up their pies. Kind of hidden off of 138. Trust me Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Papa Gino’s or Papa John’s got nothing on this place.

We ordered the Italian Buffet for a baby shower yesterday, everything was amazing. It was delivered on time with a very friendly delivery guy( sorry I didn’t get his name) and hot and ready to serve our guests. Everyone raved on how delicious everything was. I can’t thank you enough for helping make our party a success! Will definitely order AGAIN!
