Traveling for work and came across this place and was so happy! I absolutely loved it! Great service, clean atmosphere, fantastic macaroni, and oh the chicken! I could have eaten here every day of my trip and been happy. The chicken isn’t as spicy as I thought it would be so I was glad about that. And they give you honey if you ask. Will definitely be coming back here!

When on a road trip you do what? Eat!!! We had just pulled up to the Memphis area and we’re hot, thirsty and hungry. One of us went inside and the rest of us stayed in the car. She came outside with wings. Oh my. I didn’t chicken at that time but after we ate that wing we had to go back.

Ate at this location during a soccer tournament in Memphis. The chicken is good with a hint of spiciness. The sides were good and the fried green tomatoes were a nice appetizer. The staff was friendly and it was easy to get in and out of the store. The food was served relatively quickly, especially considering it was a busy Sunday afternoon. Overall, a good spot.

Food is great but service is below average. Busy Sunday afternoon and no host or hostess. After the crowd at the front grew large enough, one of the many waitresses who had passed without welcoming us finally advised us to check in at the front counter. Is it too much to ask for a sign or better yet, a friendly person, to welcome us and put us in a cue for a table? Apparently it is here.

We are in Memphis traveling from Illinois and wanted to try something new and this place had amazing reviews so we gave it a shot. Boy, are we glad we did! The chicken is absolutely fabulous, the slaw and beans were delicious, and the service was fast, friendly and inviting. Definitely a place to stop for a quick bite!
