GUS’S Fried Chicken in Phoenix. hands down the best! The restaurant is super clean. The wait staff is nice and attentive. The owner came to check on how the food was. THE FOOD came out piping hot and fresh. From the creamy Mac and cheese to the greens and beans all the way to the Star of the show the award wining chicken which was fresh crispy and juicy. If you are in Phoenix Gus’s is a must stop drop in and take a two piece to go!!!

I’m on a business trip and wanted something different from what the downtown area offers. I walked from my hotel which was very convenient and when we walked in we was sent to the table. They accommodate a party of 6 people. The establishment was very nice looking. The tables was spaced out but it was quite and very nice inside. Don’t remember exactly what I ordered but had 3 pieces of chicken, fries and slaw. The chicken and fries was so good but I wasn’t a fan of the slaw. I also had the fried pickles and they were just ok. But if I’m ever in the area again I most definitely will be again.

I didn’t think it was that great, it wasn’t what I expected, bake beans and coleslaw was good. It took forever to get our food, when there was only 4-5 customers dining in! With the pandemic virus still going strong the server not once did she wash her hands! She touched everything food,drinks,drink refill,trash, especially money! (Tips).

We were wanting some chicken and actually headed to Church’s chicken just up the street when we saw the red neon sign and decided this would be a better option. We were not disappointed. We ordered the three piece meal okra, coleslaw and greens. The chicken has the perfect crisp and seasoning. Also loved the collard greens!

First time at Gus restaurant. The food was immaculate. The collards were actually seasoned, Cole slaw was delicious, and the chicken wasn’t spicy but had a nice flavor. I will definitely be back with some friends. They had a nice selection of beer. I will get dessert next time.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place and go here all the time. The chicken is perfectly crispy and yet still super juicy with a great spicy kick of flavor. It’s honestly the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and can’t recommend this place enough. Valerie our server was great and very attentive to anything we needed. The prices are also great.
