Great little Mexican food restaurant. Our server was the best. Endless sodas. My enchiladas were delicious. The chips and salsa were excellent with just the right amount of hotness. The restroom was clean but lacked ventilation and hot water.

The green wet burrito was one of the best I’ve had in a loooong while. It had a kick to it while still being able to taste the burrito itself and customer service was excellent. We would definitely stop by again whenever we travel/pass by. Thank you for the delicious food!:)

I forgot to take pictures when the food came so have few to show. But! The food was really good. Taco salad, bean burrito and chili rellenó. Let me tell you – I am really particular about chili rellenos and rarely get them cooked to my satisfaction. Gustavo’s does a great job. Presentation was good. It was hot. Chili seeds had been removed. And the chili was wrapped in what looked liked a fried soft tortilla so it was crunchy on the outside. It was great!! I tried the Mexican Mule. Good tequila taste. Cut and very clean place. Good friendly service all for a reasonable price!

Pulled in late and they were so welcoming…family local owned…food was so good that I ordered more ala cart. I ordered tacos and shredded beef enchiladas…even the rice and beans were outstanding. Clean very clean….saw the staff cleaning up everything…wiping it down. Don’t miss this…..serves beer, and specialty drinks.

Food was superb! Had the 3 Asada tacos with rice and beans. 2 days earlier, we ate at the Monticello location… I had the same entree. Both establishments hit it out of the park!

This place is underestimated. Fantastic food and service. Huge margaritas and delicious enchiladas. Definitely one of the best mole we ever had and the best green chili we had on this trip. No jokes, highly recommended, they should open a place in New York! Come visit and you’ll not be disappointed!

Best Mexican food I have had in so long! And service was fabulous too! The salsa that came with my tacos was just the perfect amount of spicy! They even brought queso with our chips and salsa. It was fabulous too. This is a must stop when in Cortez.

Ordered the Coconut mojito and was not impressed. The mint leaves were muddled and it tasted only of alcohol. Ordered a piña colada to replace it. It was sweet. The guacamole was good and so were my asada street tacos.

Stopped by for some authentic Mexican food and Gustavo’s did not disappoint. This place is one of the best Mexican foods I have had. From the friendly and welcoming staff to the great food, Gustavo’s is a must if you are in the area. Love the fresh salsa, not made from canned vegetables. We liked the food so much we got food for the drive home and also bought the jar of Gustavo’s green salsa.

Stopped in for dinner while passing through town based on the great reviews. They weren’t wrong. We ordered beef fajitas to share and they were pretty good. The seasoning was on point although the cut of meat wasn’t the best. There were several pieces with grissel / fat, but other than that, the meal was good. The tortillas were hot as fire and delicious, they tasted fresh! The salsa had a wonderful flavor but was too “fresh” for me – chopped onions, chives, cilantro – I like more of a cooked or pureed salsa. The staff was very friendly and even though we walked in at 8:15pm they treated us perfectly (closed at 9pm) and we were out of there by 8:55. We would definitely recommend and return
