Over the past few months, I’ve had to start checking my order before I drive away. I started doing this because twice in a row it was wrong once I got home and opened my box to eat. I’m not sure why but every time either the slaw is missing or the toast is missing or the extra sauce I paid for is missing. Last night it was late and dark. Been a long day. So I quickly opened my box at the window and could see everything appeared to be in the box. Got home and found the chicken was badly burned. Why on earth would they serve that? And my cup of slaw looked half eaten. I love Guthries and keep going back for more but good grief. I just picked at the chicken, ate what was left in the cup of slaw and went to bed. Perhaps it’s just this particular location. I’ve mentioned it before to them but I don’t think anyone working there really cares. And that’s okay but they’re sending a bad message out to customers in Opelika.

Sandwich and fries were nearly cold..I thought the sandwich came on Texas toast, AND All I had was a BIG COLD BUN. WASN’T EVEN TOASTED…Cashier was not as friendly..Drive thru order..Paid almost 9.00 bucks, plus. For the Sandwich and a order of fries,, NO DRINK..Nope, Not Again…

I went to this location this evening. I was very rudely rushed with my order. I ended up sitting in the drivethru for over 20 minutes. I get to the window and the young lady attempted to hand me a small drink when I ordered a large. You couldn’t hardly hear anything she was saying because of the loud music being played in the background. She very rudely said ….ok and disappears into the back. About 5 minutes later, two other employees hit the corner. I asked for the manager to get my money back and they said they don’t have one. All four of the employees that I made contact with literally laughed in my face. Way to go Guthries! You have definitely lost my business. And I will be there in the morning to see if they actually do have a manager.

I came by the drive thru earlier today around 2:30 pm and there was a older white blonde lady being rude to her coworker the poor boys face turned red of embarrassment. There was another girl with blonde pink hair who seemed very embarrassed as well. I don’t know what she said but the manager then came to help and then this older man handled the situation and then open the window and proceeded by handing my order with a big smile on his face whoever this manager is great customer service but this older lady needs to tone it down heard her from the outside poor kiddos who seem to be minors and this woman could be there grandmother.
