I came to Guy’s on the recommendation of Bat Man (Nola locals know who that is). His recommendation was spot on, one of the best poboy I’ve had 10/10. Service was great. When I came in the owner was there. He was very hospitable. He even catered to a customers off the menu request. Overall great experience.

We stopped by for lunch and shared a blackened catfish Po Boy – we really enjoyed it.. very strong flavor.. one of the better Po Boys we had in New Orleans..! Also this restaurant’s Google Maps description states this is a cash only establishment but they accept tap n pay, too.

Grilled shrimp poboy was incredibly delicious. The shrimp were plentiful and had the most amazing flavor and spice. Service was friendly, get there early to avoid the crowd but honestly worth the wait.

I had higher expectations. I will first say the owner and his wife are amazing and have 5 star gratuity – super friendly people. The prices are high, but you receive a whole lot of food. Small dine in area – not a lot of tables or area to move around if there is a line of people. We did not have to wait a significantly long time our visit. We ordered the fried shrimp po’boy and the grilled chicken po’boy with an order of cheesy fries. I was not a fan of the bread, it was hard to take a bite. Shrimp was kinda chewy. The chicken po’boy was average – not a lot of flavor. The cheesy fries were not what we were expecting- I guess we expected liquid cheese sauce and not just shredded cheese melted on top… Note: all of the art work on the walls is painted by the owner which is cool.

My favorite po’boy in New Orleans. Small shop, the owner is always at the grill/ fryers. He has a fantastic attitude and the food is consistently excellent.

This place in a nice part of town, located on the corner so very easy to see. I found out about this place on one of my favorite YouTube shows and decided to give them a try. This was the first time I had a Poboy so I didn’t know what to expect. I will say that it was a very good sandwich. I can tell they used quality ingredients as well. I got the cat fish and the shrimp Poboy! The shrimp Poboy was more flavorful and distinguishing from the other. Next time I will add more sauce or mayo to it so it’s not as dry but out side of that this was a very good put together sandwich. The staff was very nice and positive. The establishment was clean and upkept well. Would definitely recommend as a first timer.

The best! Everyone is so nice. Easy to find. I had the fried Catfish and it was so good. It’s cool to see the chef back there hustling, moving at lightning speed. Even though he was moving quick, there was a little bit of a wait… like 25min. Totally worth it. Highly recommend.

One of the best po boys I have ever eaten. Not dry like most places but very moist. The seafood is not breaded but grilled. So much more flavor with the alligator and the catfish and the shrimp. Video review coming to the Jack on the go show on YouTube
