I just had to check out a quick stop restaurant that had a 4.9 review score. This is a quick place to grab a bite, not fancy at all. That being said, it was clean and ready for customers when it opened at 11, and people were ready to enter. We had chicken shawarma and gyros, which were great and flavorful. I got a side salad instead of fries. I think it is one of the best side salads I’ve had, with varied vegetables, feta, and Greek dressing (some oil and vinegar variation, I enjoyed it).

Being an Ohioan from Chicago, I really miss some good gyros. My bloodstream yearns for them. A friend in the Dayton area told me about Gyro Max. It was quite delicious to where I made a return trip. The dining area is clean to a max. And food portions are large without me being broke to the max. Service is fast and all of my food is fresh. I make this my place for my essential gyro fix. Kudos to the owner on a great job running this establishment.

This place is AMAZING!! I went here for years when it was Gyro Palace, but Gyro Max put the old resteraunt to shame! Clean and bright, very well decorated, courteous, and helpful staff. And we haven’t even gotten to the food! They have a large selection of craft drinks that are so good, but their food is even better! The Gyro sandwich is packed with meat and toppings, you can order standard or custom, wonderful variety of sides. Do not leave without getting their Greek Fries! They are so flavorful and yummy! Out of this world!!

As you walk in the decorations are outstanding they match amazingly with the color pallet. The people behind the counter were nice and friendly. They had a very diverse menu. I got Greek fries and a Chicken Gyro. The Greek fries were out standing and full of flavor, I recommend to get them. The Chicken Gyro was amazing with the Chicken being so neatly cut and the delicious flavor. Overall this is a nice cozy restaurant that is worth coming back to.

Gyro Max is a welcome addition to the Dayton/Riverside area. The interior of the restaurant is fresh, clean, bright and welcoming to sit and enjoy your meal. Employees (which one I believe was the owner) were extremely kind and definitely aim to please. Our meal was to-go for 5 people (3 of which were under 5).
