Lots of yummy fish and chips. The hushpuppies were spot on. Fish was outstanding. Plenty for the two of us. Great place stop by for European style fish and chips. Plenty of sauces on the side as we.

From the outside, this is your average looking fish and chips shop, but the flavor and cook on the food are far above average. The fish was cooked beautifully with a flaky, crisp and flavorful breading. The chips were great!

This place has went down! Expensive Crust because you’re not getting much fish these days from here! They’re cutting the fish thinner! We tried to give them another chance, but Never again! Hard crust like a rock I might add..

They make the best fish and chips in town. I do not care traveling from San Leandro to Richmond with heavy traffic. So long we could eat h-salt fish and chips.

People were friendly. Fish was ok. We liked the fried mushrooms & onion rings.

Daily Catch combo is great – fish, prawns and chips. H Salt does the thick batter (British) type of fried fish.

Came here to pick up some dinner. Aside from the menu, There’s a couple “special” menu you can browse to chose from too. I ordered a 3 piece fish special while the boyfriend ordered the shrimp and fish special. I’ve ordered a lot of fish and chip from restaurants that boast about how good their fish and chips are, and I must say, by far this place is excellent.

Excellent fish and chips. Made fresh to order and good sized portions. You can taste the quality of the fish – something that isn’t always the case with many a chippy!

Overwhelmingly decadent fish and chips. I have downed many a set of them over the years, but this one takes the proverbial cake. If I’m gonna be honest it makes the joints at Fisherman’s Wharf in SF feel like fish food, much as I love those places.

It has been year’s since I’ve eaten at H. Salt fish and chips. My friend’s and I used to go to the one in San Rafael next to the high school. Had no idea there was one left. It was great I will be going back again. They need to get monk’s vinegar but other than that I was pleased.
