The food was absolutely AMAZING! I have traveled many places and tried many Ethiopian cuisines but this one by far is the BEST I’ve had. Not to mention the service and vibes was awesome. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I love this food. I used to get it when they were over on S. Main Street under the name Hope Restaurant. I was glad to find out that they simply moved locations. I order takeout because now it’s in a Hookah bar. I love the tangy Injera and the bouncy unique texture it has. The flavors are just so delicious. spicy, complex, meat perfectly cooked with a nice blend of spices. The portions are very big and it’s worth the price.

My father and I ate lunch here and it was excellent. I had the spicy beef and he had the peas. It came out on a large platter and we ate with our hands. I have never had Eritrean food before. The beef was tender with just the right amount of spice. The peas/tomato’s are a purée that has great flavor. I wish there was a place like this to eat on my area.

My first taste of Ethiopian food from Hope Restaurant did not disappoint! We ordered the Doro Wat and Kay Wat. Both were cooked perfectly tender, and the spices used with each were delicious. The injera bread was also wonderful, especially with sauces from the other dishes. I will definitely go back again soon.

Visited yesterday after FINALLY finding an Ethiopian Eritrean restaurant locally. Food is EXCELLENT!!! Generous portions, excellent flavor and authentic recipes. Customer service is next level and cleanliness and hygienic practices are top notch. If you love this cuisine, you’ll love this restaurant. If you’ve never tried it, you’ll love it!

Wow, we got a selection for takeout and it was incredible. Loved by the kids and the husband. I look forward to eating there in person when it is safe.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner last night (August 21st) at Hope Restaurant. We heard good things about it and the dinner and service were first-class. Ethiopian and Eritrean beers ($5 each) are excellent, and the Doro Wat excellent. We plan to return. Thank you.

I saw a video about doro wot that left me salivating for a plate of it and searched for an Ethiopian spot close to me— this one did not disappoint. Their version of Doro wot is classic and every bit as delicious as I hoped. Beautiful injera, well balanced seasonings, deep slow cooked flavors. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend!! I will be back again and again.
