If you order the large lobster make sure you ask how old it is or it may come to you dry and fishy smelling. Lots of good food on the menu. Seems there is a lot of breaded and fried items. Overall a good place in Burlington to eat.

Was looking forward to a steak and figured that a steakhouse would be able to make a steak – I was wrong. Steak was overcooked, bland (I have never salt and peppered a cooked steak before), and expensive for the quality (I can make a much better steak at home for less). The baked potato was super dry. How this place gets such high reviews is beyond me besides “North Dakota nice” and residents having a preference for bland overcooked mediocre food.

I’ve been eating at the Hacienda since I was a little kid. It’s a family tradition when we come back to visit Minot, and I look forward to it every time! I always order the lobster, plus a stuffed shrimp and extra hacienda sauce on the side 🙂 The service is always friendly and the food is consistent year after year, decade after decade. So many happy memories here! Never change, Hacienda!

The food was very good. Had a fish sandwich, which had a large piece of fish and was very filling. Other dinners were very welcoming to us. The staff was great. They were very personable and extremely friendly.

It was ok! My fish was over cooked. The chicken fried steak was great. The salads were decent as were the sides. The service was nice, but very slow. Decent late lunch but nothing to brag about.

Today I went to hacienda with my wife and a friend from out of state who had really wanted to go after seeing the menu online. We arrived and our waitress was quite short with us and on top of that was rude when taking my order. The salad that came with the meal was very low quality like it had come straight from a pre cut bag. I ordered the ribeye special and the lobster. The lobster has a strong odor and the meat was extremely tough and chewy and had very little flavor or seasoning so I didn’t finish it. The ribeye seemed over cooked on the outside and was not at all what I expected. The only thing that really made the meal enjoyable was the jalapeno poppers which I had as an appetizer. I had been there about a year ago and had enjoyed a burger and thought I would enjoy the rest of the food as well but after this experience I don’t think I will go back.

Not a fan. Steak was the only good thing about this place. My wife got prime rib and I don’t even think it was actually prime rib. Probably the worst restaurant I have been to in the Minot Area. Go to Longhorn instead.

We ordered the chicken dinner and it was crispy and juicy, the pork chops, were also juicy and not dry. Food was served quick and hot. Waitress was nice, pleasant and attentive. Will definitely visit again.

On Friday at 9:15 pm I want to take to b-day dinner one of my best employee so I called to know if they can take us 9:50 pm. They did and they were really welcome. The food was great. The server was super nice. They checked on us if everything was ok. One of them was a guy that I can imagined was the owner for the way he acted. I highly recommend the restaurant!!!!
