Friendly staff, large portions and fairly priced. The restaurant has a large shaded patio for outdoor dining on cool evenings. The chips and salsa are house made and fantastic. I had the Pollo ranchero which was delicious, and a large enough portion that I couldn’t finish it.

Loved it here! Food is great, service and great and the drinks were on point! We ordered the el jefe, swirl margarita, shredded chicken quesadilla, taco salad and queso dip with jalapeños on the side and have nothing to complain about! I will be back for the 2-5 happy hour everyday and 5.99 20 oz margaritas on Thursdays!

First of all, the salsas they placed on the table with the chips were absolutely fantastic. Flavor forward with an adequate amount of spice. We each got a different taco plate and none disappointed. The server was friendly and the food was served quickly. If we lived near by, we would regulars.

Have the best Birria AND drink OMG. OF course, I pronounced Birria wrong when ordering, but one of the younger female staff members became a pathologist and guided me to roll the rs. The place isn’t stingy with the liquor. Best place in Lawrenceville for food & drinks. I decided to try Tequila Mama & was highly disappointed with the food & drinks. This is the spot where family or friends gather for Mexican food & drinks. Hands down my favorite spot. I love it…hope my review leads you to not only take my word but also check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

This is probably one of the best kept secrets in downtown Lawrenceville! The food was terrific, fresh and spot on with multi-layered, rich and complex flavors to savor! Many Mexican-themed restaurants don’t have the true Mexican taste, but this restaurant does! The deluxe nachos could make a meal for 2, or last one person for 3 days! The combination plate was also awesome for a variety of favorites. I usually judge a place by how good their salsas are–this place is top ranked in my book in this category with their homemade hot and mild and homemade (?) chips. Be sure to save room for dessert because there are several to choose from in this category as well! I was only disappointed they didn’t have carnitas as this is one of my favorite dishes. But with the huge selection of other things to choose from, I had no problem finding something else!

Nice hidden gem in downtown Lawrenceville!!! Everything was top notch. The ambience, the staff, the chips and salsa, the margaritas, the food! I can’t wait to go back. Nice selection is margaritas. I had the frozen swirl (lime flavor margarita with sangria) with lobster tacos. Soooooo delicious!!! I definitely recommend. This will be the Mexican restaurant I recommend to all from now on!
