I was visiting from Mississippi. This restaurant was recommended by a native of NC. I wish had her name and number, so that I could say THANK YOU! This place was amazing. The waitress was so sweet and patient with my choosing and changing my menu items. She was attentive, asking each time I tasted something to see if I enjoyed it. I ordered the ginger juice, but it’s spicy; and I didn’t like it. The sweet waitress suggested that I try mixing it with the hibiscus juice. Wonderful suggestion that you gotta try! You will love the sweet, spicy result. I finally settled on ordering the chicken stew, rice and beans and collard greens for my meal. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the most delicious food I’ve ever had. And finally the appearance of the restaurant was very clean. And I loved the African-themed murals. I wish I lived close enough to visit Hady’s again.

I had an excellent dining experience with my family at Hardy’s International Cuisine. They have authentic West African cuisine (Halal). The owner is from Senegal. Oxtail, Jollof rice with lamb, peanut soup with chicken, and plantains tasted delicious! Will be here again!

My favorite part of my visit was this restaurant. The best food. The friendliest staff we experienced. The jollof was AMAZING! SO MUCH FOOD FOR THE MONEY. Very family friendly as well. Plenty of dining. Food ready in less than 30 minutes. First time I’ve experienced that an African restaurant. Menu has a wide variety of west african (Senegalese) and carribbean. You can get basic chicken nugget and fries too. I will definitely be back.

My first time eating here, first they told me 15-20, so I went to Bojangles real quick right up the street. Get back to the restaurant, and was told that my food was mixed up. Ok now I’m thinking we paid 50 something dollar’s and now we have to wait another 30 minutes. In my mind my food is about to be good. I get my food out food is over seasoned, my cabbage is over cooked, how do you mess up curry chicken! I will not be returning to them at all. Can’t give it to me for free. I didn’t even want to waste my time to call back after I seen all the reviews. They have to do better. Looks like they were doing good at first, but now they fell off! I hope they tighten up. I’m one customer, that will not be returning!!!!! Only thing that was good was the white rice! Um um um!!! The food was not edible!!

Absolutely delicious. We came soon after opening. Our waitress was very sweet, helped us with the menu and gave us recommendations. The building was very clean and beautifully decorated. Their chili too is amazing, made sure to get a whole bottle to take home. First time trying fufu and eugsi soup and it was 1010. Try the hibiscus nectar and the mango drink as well!! Definitely worth the stop :). Sad I don’t live in-state or id be a regular for sure!

Stopped by here this afternoon because my friend was craving some African food. He got the Egusi soup with chicken as protein and his side was fufu. I couldn’t decide what I wanted so I just got a side of red beans and rice, beef patty, nem, and the plantains were delicious. His craving was highly satisfied! The restaurant has a nice lay out and the staff are friendly. I would recommend this place if you are in the local area and want some African food.

This was such a wonderful place to find! The restaurant atmosphere is lovely, it’s really cute inside. The food was amazing, I still dream of the peanut butter soup with chicken. The jollof rice was good too. I also tried the ginger and hibiscus drinks which were really good. I absolutely plan to visit again next time I’m in Raleigh to try more of

I have never been to an African restaurant, but I love to cook and try cuisine new to me. I had the lamb with jollof rice, also tried my friend’s goat with rice. I was eying my other friend’s wings as well! There wasn’t a lot of talk, too busy savoring. Soooo delicious. I wished I could have taken a case of the hibiscus drink made on premise as well. The restaurant has fabulous art work on the walls, and the interior is clean and vibrant. I haven’t been back to Raleigh for several months, but I am craving the delicious food and will return.
