This place is a gem. So glad I found it about a year ago. I have recommended my friends and family to come here. The food is delicious, and the service impeccable. They have a young man in the front, who takes great care of their customers, and loves to chat up the patrons. Such a breathe of fresh air! He deserves a raise! Definitely recommend this place if you are craving for authentic Chinese food!

Alabama native, LA local. I drive Lyft part time and my customer brought me to Irvine 2 days ago. I’ve had some congestion and not feeling well, so I was craving broth and comfort food. Google reviews and proximity landed me at Hai Master where I was quickly welcomed by Leo and given the menus for review. The menus were well organized with pictures for easy selection.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! It is difficult to find good Chinese food that isn’t muddled flavors drowned in brown sauces. So glad to discover Hai’s Master Kitchen so close to home. Clean full flavored dishes, the fresh vegetables are right amount of crispness, and meats so succulent. Everyone in my family loved the dish they picked! The prices and portions are really good, restaurant was spotless, and staff was friendly! Second experience was same, they consistently delivered a happy dining experience. I came back and ordered catering for 150 person high school event too and lots of folks wanted name and address for Hai, parents and students included! It seems to be a big hit with all tastebuds.

I have been looking for good Chinese foods around Irvine & Laguna Woods area. Found a excellent place!! Their amazing lunch specials are best way to try out their foods. I loved all their foods and especially the friendly the host Leo. If you are spicy food lover like me, I recommend- Mongolian Beef, Orange Peel Chicken, Salt & Pepper Chicken or Shrimp, Mapo Tofu, Kung Pao Chicken and Spicy Fish Fillet.

OMG I’m eating the BEST house special chow mein right now, I had to give a review. The portion size is way too much but I’m ok eating this for a couple of days. The meats are flavored to perfection! Service was great also! Definitely be visiting again.

Where do I begin? My job is literally around the corner and decided to drop in for lunch. Why hasn’t this restaurant being talked about. The staff members are super kind and very friendly they are traditional. Let me start off by saying the restaurant is very clean. So hard to come by to a family owned restaurant where they are so friendly. The food is top notch the flavors of each dish is so freaking good. My partner was shocked cause he even said where did I find this hidden gem. The quality of the food is delicious tasty and my lord my stomach is watering thinking about their food. Their kung pao chicken good their mapo tofu is really yummy. They have Mongolian beef which is also super yummy. This is genuinely the best Chinese food I ever had. So hard to come by especially here in the oc. If you are ever in the area they do offer lunch specials and if you decided to eat in you should. Totally worth it. Not to mention many Chinese restaurants their food leaves you groggy when you come here your all happy and don’t have to worry about how heavy the food is it’s super light. Hai Master Kitchen has THE BEST spicy Mapo Tofu in southern California! And the delicious lunch specials are an incredible deal. The YuXiang Eggplant is absolutely fantastic, too. So is the Shui Zhu Rou. Come to think of it, ALL of the dishes I have had are just great — true Chinese food taste from China. One of our family’s favorite places for sure! The waiter is a really nice guy, too. Thank you all and keep up the great work!
