Haiku was amazing!! The service was attentive + nice, the ambiance was cute & “instagrammable”, but best of all – the food! The grilled octopus was amazing. It was cooked very well, tender + flavorful. The blue crab sushi was super fresh and tasty and the shrimp fried rice was to die for!! Honestly, the best fried rice I’ve ever had. It had a perfect combination of flavors & textures. The drinks were good too. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Nice place with interesting dishes. The food is brought out when ready and always hot which is nice. All food was good but very very heavy on the salt in all dishes. You will definitely swell from a meal here! It’s too bad because the dishes were very interesting and unique. The lobster ramen which is house specialty is overpriced as two shrimp skewers, a lump of lobster and the cod was MIA.

One of our favorite stops for our girls’ trip to Tampa. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with outdoor seating and bar service. The food and the drinks were worth the money. The fried pork was crunchy and delicious. The drink nemu has a nice choice variety, and ours were refreshing.

Went for brunch before catching a matinee at the Straz Center which is a short walk away. Food and service was excellent! We had the tower of sangria which was very refreshing and tasty. The chicken and waffles were very good and is a large portion! Will definitely be back!

Went to celebrate a birthday with a group of 11 people over the weekend. It’s a nice place, good lighting, chill music, and nice outdoor space. The food presentation was nice but the food was just ok and a bit over priced. We mentioned in the reservation that it was a birthday but our waitress didn’t ask or offered a birthday treat. Each of our bills were close to $200 so it was about $800 table in total. Not once did anyone ask us how the food was or if we needed anything else. I would most likely not return here again.

I just went for a drink. So I will update you when I have something to eat. But nonetheless, the service was great. Very chill and laid back yet very attentive and engaging. I love the fact that they are here to offer a good atmosphere and food that smells great (therefore I shall try it next time I go)

The service is INCREDIBLE here! Everyone is so so nice. We want to come back for that reason alone. The manager Dallas treated us like friends right from the start and arranged free cover for us at a nearby bar we wanted to check out. He saw us at a table in a busy corner and moved us to an adorable booth that was open. Our server Tim was extremely sweet and on top of everything. One of our sushi rolls took awhile to come out and without us even having to say something, he apologized profusely and comped it. Then the manager and what I assume is an owner came over and apologized. On top of the impeccable service, the food was delicious and the decor was gorgeous. We will be back and recommending Hiku to everyone!

Wow!! So beyond impressed with this place!! The FOOD the SERVICE was exceptional. My favorites where the Volcano Roll and the Lobster Ramen! Our table had pretty much everything and nothing disappointed. The short ribs were great, all the sushi rolls highly recommend this spot! Top notch!

The atmosphere and decor is truly unique- I’m glad that we were able to stop here on vacation. We ordered a Fried Rice and Ramen, and were slightly underwhelmed with the flavor. Although it was pretty good, we probably wouldn’t make it a point to come again.

So we went here and had Japanese Wagyu and oh my gosh it was amazing. The sushi rolls were incredible. And the ambience in the whole restaurant was very nice. It was loud at times but you could hear the person next to you. We did make reservations ahead of time which was nice because Police got really packed when we got there though there was sitting outside and in hindsight that would’ve been better because it was a beautiful day. I highly recommend checking this place out for a date night or even just casual lunch.
