I’ve been looking for a good sushi spot since I moved out of the city, and this place is it. Amazing quality fish, super quick and attentive service, and very comforting vibes. The Hajime special is an incredible deal, and the green tea is *chefs kiss.* It’s right by the Harrison train station so it’s super convenient despite me living 3 towns away. Will definitely be making this a regular visit. Love love love, highly recommend!

Haven’t been in this restaurant for quite some times, the quality has not changed, still very good. Service is quick and good. But can see the portion was smaller.

My favorite thing to get here is the chirashi, an assortment of sashimi over seasoned sushi rice. Their wasabi is impeccably fresh. Be sure to ask for green tea. This place is the real deal.

If you’re a hardcore sushi fan and you’ve never stepped foot in this establishment, can you even call yourself a real sushi lover? This place has exceeded all of my expectations with its flavorful food. The first bite of sushi instilled in me pure bliss; the balanced flavors of the vinegar rice and of the fish smoothly intertwine with each other. And don’t get me started on the fish—the fish is super fresh, and I can taste the effort that went into sourcing this high-quality ingredient. The simple act of tasting the food has given me immense respect for the sushi masters’ artistry and pride in their craft. Eating here is an experience I will never forget, and I am eager to come back, hungry for more.

AUTHENTIC Japanese cuisine, fresh fresh fish, top quality service, and miso soup that’s the best in Westchester. This is the real deal, a local mom/pop shop that’s brings me memories of meals in Osaka and Kyoto. I am fortunate enough to have found this place years ago, and even more fortunate it’s still around. If all you care about is decor and quantity, don’t bother coming. If you care about quality and deliciousness, then look no further, this is your final stop for authentic Japanese outside of Manhattan.

Best sushi in Westchester and better than many places in NYC. Anyone looking for extravagant rolls drowning in sauce will be at the wrong place in Hajime; they are wonderful in their simplicity, letting the quality of their fish do the talking. They also have traditional izakaya items.

Japan outpost in the wilds of NY suburbia. Chef is from Osaka and brings “Japan’s kitchen” to you. There is an excellent calm feeling here. The fish is exceptionally fresh, and well prepared.

The most genuine Japanese restaurant in the area. The owners and sushi men are Japanese. The staff are amazing. The fish is very fresh and the sushi, sashimi and all rolls are perfect. If you like real Japanese food this is the perfect place.
