Let’s get one thing straight right off the bat, Malia’s recommendation on the Superior roll was Fantastic! The cozy atmosphere, service is to be admired and congratulated! Fine dining with a relaxed atmosphere. Food is wonderful. Highly recommend.

My niece wanted to eat here one last time as a graduate at St. Ben’s. She enjoys the Hibachi and Crunchy roll. The wait wasn’t long but staff were confused on setting up a table of 6. We eventually sat down but before we could order we were asked to move which was awkward. Service was good and our waiter was quick. The $9.50 for three pieces of Shrimp tempura was not worth it and the Yakisoba didn’t have much flavor. It didn’t seem to have much sauce and the noodles seemed too thin. However two of the sushi was good. We enjoyed the Anchors Tattoo roll and crunchy roll. Overall it’s only decent.

Recommended to me by someone at my job, I finally got the chance, as I was in town for an appointment. I couldn’t have been happier!! The food, my server, and atmosphere were all excellent !! I cannot afford the same bill each time, but I will be coming back once a month after my appointments, and trying something new each time!

Very happy we came here tonight. Our kids love sushi and Japanese cuisine. But this place did a great job of being super inclusive and mindful to kids and families! The food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great we definitely will be coming back often! The shrimp fried rice is the absolute best with yum yum sauce.

Have been to Hajime twice. Was impressed by the quality of food and service. Have tried 8 or nine of the rolls and multiple apps. The calamari is my favorite app though my wife is partial to the beef negimaki. The noodle bowls got high praise, though I stick to sushi. The house cocktails are also interesting and delicious! Go there. Eat food and support a local business!

Was in town and hadnt eaten all day. Searched Google for restaurants around me and saw this gem with 4.7 stars. It had been some time since I had sushi so off I went. Atmosphere is simple and I was quickly greeted by the waitress and sat down quickly. I had read in a review that the calamari was a must have and it truly is as stated on the menu…”Must Have Calamari” delicious!!! Was lightly battered and not over fried, served with a delicious sauce. I like that their menu specified which rolls are raw and which are cooked. I chose two cooked options. For sushi rolls, I chose the Devil something and the Posion something. Both dishes did not disappoint!! Sushi rolls were top notch. Even brought an extra roll home for tomorrows lunch. While I was there there was a steady rush of pickup orders and I can clearly see why. They lived up to their stars for sure! I will be back again!

My wife and I just tried this place out for the first time and we were very impressed by not only the modern look and staff but the food was amazing. Very light and full of flavor. Our waitress and the floor manager were on point and our glass was never empty. Fairly priced, and well presented. Will be back many times to come.
