Wanted hibachi and headed here after another place was too long of a wait. Hakata had no waiting and we were able to sit and eat really quickly. Ordered a drink and it came out incredibly fast. Staff was there making sure we had everything we needed. Not sure why there were negative comments recently but this place deserves a try. This is my second trip here this year and I will be back again.

My family and I went out for a birthday dinner. I made reservations online, but we happened to arrive early. We were more than willing to wait. However, we were seated very shortly after arriving. The service was excellent! Chef Rico deserves a special shout out. His humor and personality tried to get everyone involved in the experience. He made the meal and outing extra special. The food was great and the portions were large.

Had my birthday dinner here and it was our first time at this hibachi place and it was everything we hoped for with a more mom and pop vibe. We had filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken w/fried rice and it was fantastic. Highly recommend the pear sake, it has a hint of sweetness to it that makes it amazing.

Very disappointing. Used to be really good when it was Izumi now it is mediocre at best. Food was disappointing and my kiddos were disappointed and wouldn’t eat most of stuff that they usually do as they didn’t like the taste.

Love it! Only been open for a few months, but it’s great. Staff is friendly, food is great, and atmosphere is super clean and nice. Prices are typical for a Japanese steakhouse. Also fairly family friendly for a hibachi (which generally are more difficult for small children).
