My family popped in for a late bite after a night game at King’s sports complex. Short line and quick service, staff was polite and helpful. The food choices were very varied (chicken, steak, pasta, seafood) and even included dessert items. Prices were reasonable, slight fee for using a card vs cash.

I ordered the chicken over rice; previous times it wasn’t that great, decided to give it one last try to see if they improved – not a chance. Even asked them to make it extra well done in the DoorDash special instructions. The meat tasted bad and undercooked, and had a funny aftertaste to it. I couldn’t even finish the plate. I’m not sure what the problem is but they need to improve. Needless to say I went to the bathroom right away. I will not be ordering from here again.

I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews because I seriously love this place. I’m assuming it’s the owner who I always had my encounter with and he was always beyond pleasant! There’s nothing wrong with the food, it’s the same stuff any crown fried has and it’s good! I like how they stay open late also. I wouldn’t knock it til you try it or maybe give a second chance because it’s honestly a decent little shop with some juicy chicken!!
