HFC has a truly inspirational story. April of 2020 gave birth to a small home kitchen during the first, dreadful wave of the Covid19 pandemic, when most of the world was shackled indoors due to the rising pandemic. With nothing but one small fryer, hard and a big dream, HFC started attracting its first customers, and another half year of struggle, but persistence, it was finally established as an actual restaurant, opening its arms in September of 2020.

We were looking for a halal fried chicken shop. This was the best option we had near our place. Fried chicken was overcooked and became dark instead the golden crisp. French fries was average comparing to the price. I wouldn’t recommend anyone this shop.

I’ve had HFC several times recently, always consistently good! However, I ordered on line today for pickup, showed up to the restaurant, and see that the heath department closed it down yesterday!! Not sure how I’ll get my money back as my card has been charged — hopefully the ownership does the right thing and refund me.

It was my first time at the HFC today I went based on the reviews on here which I regret now! Maybe it’s just me but it seems like they have BBQ sauce in all/most of their sauces/items. I’m not a big fan of the BBQ sauce! I never like throwing away food but I had to today! The loaded fries was not even near the top like someone mentioned in their review as it being the best they ever had which isn’t true. I have had way better loaded fries else where!

Always been very pleasantly welcomed here and the host is very polite. Current menu is limited but more limiting is their Facebook approach to the place. Restaurant website is only on Facebook, updates for the place are also only on Facebook like addition to the menu. Food is really good, for the burgers their week point is the buns which can be a hit or a miss depending on the day. They are using Door dash for delivery but found the menu either limited or outdated to what they have to offer (again they seem to be focused on Facebook only). They accept all credit cards and have NFC payment system for no contact payment.

I tried bouncer burger and howzat fried chicken here. It is really worth for very penny you pay. Burger was very appetizing and amazing. I upgraded it to a meal so they added small size fries and gave me an option to choose one can soda. Howzat fried chicken bucket is also sold in 3 and 5 piece combinations you can request for it while you are ordering. The person at the counter was very humble and friendly. You should try their menu at least once, you will definitely love it

the 2 stars only because this place was good before. i ordered 3 time before from this place and it was ok. this time I was so excited to drive over an hour just to get this hala fried chicken crispy pieces but it was worse than the worst. I had a 5 pice meal and a sandwich. Chicken was so dry and old “looks like was on the shelf for a long time before frying. and i was eating a pure salt was TOO SALTY i couldn’t push my self through the second piece. the i thought maybe just the chicken so i started to take bites off the sandwich the salami they used tasted funny so only 2 bites and I couldn’t eat any more. this too bites an 2 pice of chicken ended up by having a stomach ache until now and vomiting all night plus my mouth still salty. rest of the food ended in trash for sure.
