I think I may have been lost in translation in regard to “Kabobs”. I tried to ask a lot questions but ended up with getting Chicken Shami Kabab, and upon googling it, I did get what I ordered, but was shocked when I got it home. I was thinking I was getting a traditional chicken kabob. My suggestion if you are not sure of the menu items, google them first. It would be nice to have a menu with pictures so novices like myself would see what we are ordering. Everyone working there appeared a bit confused especially with my many questions. What I realize now is I should have ordered Chicken Mastana Kabab. If there were pictures I think my communication would have been much better. The atmosphere is odd to say the least. It’s a actual huge space but it’s partitioned with a steam table counter, two tables, no music just a eerie silence, then a really long hallway off to the side. Just a really odd layout. Service was not really friendly, it felt like they were more annoyed and confused. The guy at the counter literally walked out of the place without acknowledging me standing there to get someone down the strip mall to help with a credit card purchase that appeared to freeze when checking out the person before me. I think me trying to understand the menu and what I was ordering just pushed them over the edge. When I returned after taking it home and thinking I had the wrong thing. I was told they only had lamb kabobs anyway, and for me to come back tomorrow when they will have chicken Seeka Kabab. This will not be happening. This new restaurant is in my neighborhood and I always try to support new local businesses. This place needs to press the reboot button. Literally one photo copied menu taped to the glass of steam table is all customers have to go by. I take total responsibility for my ignorance, but better customer service would have helped me understand what I was looking for to eat.

I wish there was an option to rank without a giving a single star. It is not worth it. No proper dine in. Just 2 small tables and with 2 chairs each. Recommend not to think of dine in. Food was less. Instead of lamb nihari, we got lamb qorma ( don’t know if they call it nihari or don’t know how to cook nihari). Chicken tandoori was grilled chicken pieces (looked like cooked 3 days ago and microwaved), unable to digest. Naan (bread) was bearnt from underneath. I am sorry to say, but the owner should think about it seriously. If they want to progress, they should not compromise on quality. Just by mentioning cuisines and not being able to cook it, won’t get you stars for sure. For customers, I would say don’t waste your money and time. I usually don’t mind spending for a quality food; if that is what you are also looking for, then eat somewhere else.
