I stopped at Texas chicken on my way home yesterday to pick some food for kids and saw halal Mexican restaurant next door and thought to give it a try. Staff was very friendly. Very clean restaurant. I ordered birria taco and loaded nachos. Both tasted awesome. I will be coming back for more. Though it’s bit pricey but totally worth it.

A unique halal spot with a Mexican vibe. It’s one of the few places where you can get halal burritos etc. Staff here were prompt and quick and gave great recommendations. What I like best is the variety of sauces that you can choose on top of your standard white and hot sauce. I got the standard chicken over rice platter with curly fries and Chipotle sauce on the side which came out amazing! Overall this is a must try for anyone that is likes halal and Mexican.

The food is amazingly fresh, tasty and the restaurant is the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I recommend the burrito bowl/salad bowl and quesadillas to everyone. You will not be disappointed. Nonetheless Philly steaks and shawarmas are surprisingly good too.

Man their food is the Bomb! I’ve tried their chicken quesadilla and chicken tacos. Tastes amazing! I had to go back to try their gyro bowl. I ordered chicken and lamb over rice with curly fries. Craving satisfied! Will be going there more often. Their staff is always welcoming and courteous!

Hillside has many halal option but this by far has become my fav place because of the steak sandwich to mix blows and best of all tacos, gyros platters customizable … customer service was fast and friendly….

Went to this place a few days ago and I’m sorry I didn’t go earlier! Their chipotle sauce takes the meals to another level. Best chipotle sauce of all the mexican places I’ve reviewed! Had the birria tacos, steak, lamb and chicken tacos. And also the chicken over rice (not for me, although they give you a hefty amount so worth it for the price).

Walked in starving from a workout and the food did more than just satiate my hunger. The set of tacos was nicely packed with each taco consistent in its structural integrity, flavor profile, and texture. Definitely giving this place more visits considering the customer service and ambience.
