Elegant food and cheap price! Probably, one of the best South Asian food places near Stony Brook. Even-though the exterior or the area does not look that bourgeois, the people and food are posh! Very kind and honest people, ask for their suggestions before ordering, and the food won’t disappoint you! 🙂

We had an early dinner and thoroughly enjoyed everything! Our appetizers were amazing and fresh: samosa, vegetable pakora and aloo tikka. All of our mains were just as fresh and tasty and served with plenty of rice. The owners/staff were courteous and hospitable as well. Overall our experience was great, and I’ll definitely be returning!

I came here on a whim with my brother and mother for lunch. The food was great and tasted very fresh. We got the chicken karahi, mixed grill and paratha roll. We also ordered naan, which was very fluffy. Service was good. Yasmeen was very sweet.

We went here after our shopping at an indian store beside this restaurant, the food was good, little less spicy, we ordered chicken biryani, fish and chicken 65 in starters. Gulab jamun, loaded gol gappe. Chicken biryani was good in quantity but taste was not that good, loaded gol gappe, we expected it to be a chat but it turned out to be a salad, I don’t prefer ordering it. Every thing was just for 60 dollars

Nice desi place .. my brother told me about the new management so i had to try it out. great food , really liked goat biryani n delicious goat karahi. Was super excited to have a good south asian food place open up only a couple minutes drive from us since desi place r far off in suffolk county. Excellent tea! One of the best I have ever had. Both doodh Pati n kashmiri tea. Staff is really nice too. Love the gol gappas n the dipping water was v tasty,the best i had n the paratha n halwa puri!

I’ve had take out from this restaurant several times now. Always very courteous staff. Very tasty fresh cooked to order food. Naan rolls, biryani are delicious. Plenty of seating inside, very clean restaurant. Highly recommend it.

Went here before covid and the food was amazing!!! The food and meat tasted fresh and flavorful. I was extremely disappointed when I went here for dinner tonight and the quality of the food has drastically declined unfortunately. Ordered mixed grill and the chicken shish was literally cold, like actually cold. After complaining was served two chicken shish that were hot. Food definitely did not taste fresh which was also disappointing. For the price I paid, either quality must increase or prices have to decrease for me to dine here again.

Went for dinner with my spouse on a Saturday evening and from the get go the service was atrocious. The lady just sat at the front desk and was on her phone the entire time, wanting us to stand up and go to her to order and pay the check. She messed up the order and brought us something we didn’t order but blamed the kitchen for it. The mutton karahi was very bland. The roti very dry and cracks not fresh at all. The chicken biryani was good though. Very disappointed as a Sri Lankan because South Asian places are extremely few and far between on Suffolk County. Only two stars as the bathroom was clean and the lemonade was great!
