Not as much protein (chicken shwarma) as I would have liked. Mostly base. Lots of interesting options. Delicious, yes! Get it to go. Only room for 8 people to sit (2 tables)

Be it the one protein or two protein bowl, the one thing that’s assured is that it will fill your stomach up. Hala’s grill offers a variety of toppings and sauces (suitable for vegan and vegetarians too) that will satisfy all taste buds. They make the bowl to order, so it’s fresh and hot when you eat it. The place itself isn’t much, just a capacity of 6-8 people, but the food is so good, and value for money, that it will keep you coming back!

Super cost effective! Love their Protein bowls and their generous portions! Food is so fresh and actually satisfies my Mediterranean food cravings! The dine-in area is small but the packing is good so it’s easy to carry-out.

Our first visit for carry-out. Protein bowls are delicious. Falafel was so fresh and hot – probably the best we’ve had! Plenty of toppings, too. Very generous portions make this a great price at just over $10 per person. A new vegetarian-friendly favorite for us!

Good food. Very filling despite h how small the bowls appear. I had falafel and beef shawarma with lots of toppings. Very tasty and flavorful.

Really love this place now. We stopped by randomly when we were up from Bloomington and noticed it offered vegan options right on the window. The rice is unique and so are many of the toppings. The falafels are made to order which is pretty special. It reminds me of NYC halal trucks but more vegan friendly.

Hala’s grill is my go-to when I want to eat out. The food never disappoints and their falafel is the best I’ve ever had. They’re quick, consistent, and generous with portions. Highly recommend

Great place to stop for a quick and healthy bite near campus. The owner was very helpful and enthusiastic about his offering and helped guide us to something that would satisfy our hunger. The prices are quite reasonable and the portion sizes are enough to satisfy.

We walked in at 8.30pm and ordered 2 bowls and wanted to sit in and eat it. The place was closing only at 9pm yet the person serving refused to allow us to be seated, stating that he was closing inspite of having 2 tables free.

This little gem is hidden away in the Chauncey Hill Mall and it is wonderful! The guy serving me and my friend was so nice and let us stay in and eat while it was pouring down rain. As for the food, it was absolutely divine. The falafel was so hot and tasty and the tabbouleh was wonderfully fresh. That rice is amazing too! My friend got baba ghanouj on theirs and I tried it and I will just HAVE to get it next time! Absolutely wonderful and will be coming back!
