Have had their specialty burgers and now their fish plate and it is absolutely amazing. I’ve seen their chicken fried steak/chicken plates and it’s enough for 2 just like their fish plate. Highly recommend this place for comfort food. Will be back to try their chicken fried chicken soon. Food is definitely fresh and well worth the wait. Funnel cake fries for dessert are another hit for my kiddos as well

The food was great. The place is clean and the staff is attentive. We ordered the Fish and Shrimp basket. It comes with a whole fish filet, three large shrimps, fries, homemade tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. I also ordered a bun-less mushrooms burger with potato wedges. For drinks, we had a Coke and a sweet tea.

We went in fairly late in the evening and were greeted by the friendliest server. (I think her name was Amanda) She was very helpful with the menu for our first time in, even though it is not particularly extensive. They were out of the chicken fried steak which is one of the things that was recommended to us so we chose burgers. We ordered the King James one-pound burger and a regular hamburger, both with fries. They came out on large metal trays, which we love – more room for dipping the fries in ketchup or their ‘syanide’ sauce. The sauce is HOT so beware! These burgers are good-sized and tasty. The meat is seasoned and cooked well, ingredients and the buns are fresh. The fries are hand cut and fried. The burgers are so good, we may have trouble trying something else on the menu when we go back!

Had heard good stuff about Haley’s and I was “in the area” so I figured I’d check it out. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. The chicken was very large, juicy, and hung out on both ends of the bread! The flavor was almost like a lemon pepper seasoning but not quite. The onion rings were a little too crispy (tough) for my taste so next time I will just get the fries. As for my mother’s Fish and Shrimp plate, it was Great! Both the shrimp AND the fish were freshly cooked. And as you can see, the portion size is Awesome again! The breading on the fish got a little soggy but I think that’s just because the fillets were piled on top of each other (won’t let it happen again). Their tartar sauce is made in house and it was very, very tasty. I’m not going to lie, next time, I will be getting the Fish and Shrimp plate!! Haley’s is a bit out of my way but it will Definitely be one of my options if I’m “in the area” or if I’m craving a Great portion size!

What a pork tenderloin! Deliciously thick, excellently seasoned crispy crust. It was dressed top and bottom with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and just small squirts of mayo. The hand cut fries were so tasty but could have been a bit more crisp. The unsweet tea was perfect. I will be back to try their oh-so-reasonably priced cheeseburgers and onion rings, of which they’d run out of today. Easy to find this place. It’s on Business 83 just west of the Don-Wes Flea Market, south side of the road.

We went to try the country fried steak. You had better bring your appetite! It’s huge! My wife and I split one and it was still very filling. Hot and thick and delicious. We also had a small side salad, it was huge and very fresh and lots of fresh veggies and lettuce. Our waitress was very attentive, even though she was by herself, she made sure everyone was taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place very highly. The owners are very nice and they do a wonderful job.

Food was excellent, way to much to eat in 1 sitting. Our party of 10 was served promptly, but they could have had more help. No long waits and all food was correct and hot . We will return, just warning. FYI-would be a good idea to give them a heads up for larger groups.

The fried shrimp has a tasty seasoning to it and they are huge! The country fried pork is delicious! It is just the right amount of crispy and a really big portion. The funnel cake fries are the perfect dessert at the end of a delicious meal!
