We rented the Winthrop Room in Half Liter for an event. The food was amazing as expected and I received confirmation from my guests. Our attendant Dee was also wonderful. I will definitely be returning to Half Liter, just for a regular restaurant visit, but I also highly recommend them for your next personal or corporate event.

Fun night with our group of 8 at Half Liter. We wanted to sit outside but there was a tornado watch and the restaurant took safety seriously enough to close off the outdoor seating. We were cold under a huge ceiling fan, but once the beer was flowing we didn’t even notice it. The food was excellent (starters, sides, brisket, ribs, cornbread), the beer and cocktails were refreshing, and most of all… we had outstanding service. We put in a lot of orders and we may have a been a chaotic group, but that didn’t phase our server, Kate. She was super responsive, upbeat, accurate, and friendly. Kate made the dining experience fun, easy, and casual.

We had a nice time at Half Liter! They have a massive outdoor patio so you’ll easily be situated depending on if they’re busy. The service is nice and fast, our waiter was super friendly too.

Went here hoping for the Hoosier signature pork tenderloin sandwich. Apparently they dropped this from their menu a week ago. Probably for the best. Instead we ordered the burnt ends and tacos. Miraculously both dishes managed to be dry and totally devoid of flavor. If you’re looking for authentic local BBQ, this isn’t the place. If you’re in the mood for a franchise with edible fare, it might suit you, but McDonalds has better prices and quicker service.
