I was very pleasantly surprised despite the reviews being good , the food definitely did not disappoint. Honestly I was a bit uncomfortable as my family and I entered being the only people that looked like us there. The patrons and I assume the manager (very friendly taller male) were all very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The waitress not so much, it was very evident she didnt want to wait on us or be bothered but pushed through. But luckily the food and everyone else created a pleasant eating environment and experience. So therefore I would still recommend. I tried a number of things on the menu , from the chowder to tossed tenders , turkey tidbits, chicken sandwich, everything was great especially the pineapple teriyaki sauce. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I love the Halfway the atmosphere is fun and there are sports on many channels love that you can eat popcorn while you are deciding in the good menu from ribs to wings etc Great place to go with friends or even a date nite because everyone that works there is friendly and welcoming

The food at Halfway Cafe is always delicious. Today was grilled turkey tips (so good!) and the Chipotle Chopped Salad with grilled chicken (amazingly good!). French fries are a perfect side dish. Our waitress was friendly and accomodating.

This restaurant is a local favorite and the word favorite should not be taken likely. The staff is awesome and very friendly. The food is always spot on. While the restaurant is clean, it is a little tired. I’m OK with that but others may see that as a distraction. There chicken wing flavors are always perfectly cooked and we’ll flavored. The beef tacos are also fantastic. In fact, every item I have had at Halfway Cafe has been great. It truly is a local favorite. Highly recommended.
