The grilled jerk chicken at Halfway Tree Restaurant is simply amazing. The chicken is perfectly cooked, with a crispy skin and juicy, flavorful meat. The jerk seasoning is perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat and smokiness. The chicken is served with a side of rice and peas, which are also delicious.

Great customer service over the phone and in person. The Rasta Pasta was plentiful and the flavor was decent. Less salt and more seasoning would have been perfect. I love that its made to order. She had it ready in 30 mins and even included extra sauce.

Customer Service over the phone was great, then when I went to pick up the food I was greeted by a beautiful smile, and amazing customer service skills, the lady that helped me was sooo friendly and helpful. The best service I’ve had in a long time. Food was amazing, so flavorful we got 3 different dinners and all of them were great so much food to eat for a great price. We will be back next time we come for vacation again.

The food is GREAT and their specialty healthy drinks are Amazing! The management team are always friendly and welcoming. The best part about this restaurant everything is Made to order “FRESH”. My family and I go here very often and had just about everything on their menu. Hands down to the BEST restaurant in HARRISBURG! Great food and GREAT service.

The oxtails and rice are the best I’ve had in town. I’ve tried 3 other spots that have oxtail and this is it! The price for the food and the taste is amazing compared to other places charging $20+ for the same thing n not getting the umph…Will be ordering again for sure, this is coming from a bajan.

Great place! Enjoyed everything. Had the Kingfish and rice and calaloo. And plantains. Tasted the Brown Stewed Chicken. Excellent. Had a nice juice drink. Excellent again… never get in a hurry man. I just popped in around lunch. A lot of preorders rolled through. Waited patiently and got greeted nicely. Everyone was nice!

On point with the flavors and amount of heat with the Jerk chicken(straight from the grill)… is spicy and tender and the rice is well cooked. Really enjoyed it and I will be visiting again .

$15 for unedible jerk chicken. I ordered through door dash and they said I can pick up a new order. Why did I use door dash….Because I’m not driving anymore tonight. Very rude on the phone. A gentleman did call me back and I should of gave him a chance, but you can’t replace a first impression. Being in my field of work, this is truly sad and I will update this post with my full review when I return home to NYC!

Don’t let the look on the outside deceive you. It might not look nice, but the food is very delicious. It is managed by a couple, who are very friendly and welcoming. The dine in area isn’t big and has a couple tables, making it more ideal for takeout. But if you dine in, it is still a good experience. My sister in law who has tried a lot of Jamaican food says it’s the best spot.
