Came here out of pure curiosity, looking to try something new. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful in helping create a mostly vegetarian meal. The homemade pierogis were nothing special but the bean soup was absolutely delicious. Cute spot, definitely will be back!

Excellent everything! I especially liked the kielbasa, and hand made pierogi. This is the best deli of it’s kind at the Central Jersey. The service and selection of imported groceries, etc. was fantastic. Don’t worry if you don’t speak polish, the great team will help you, translate packaging and make sure you leave with what you will enjoy. Highly recommend for anyone who likes good food.

During Holidays, the line in store is a problem. Some people cut it, some people are checked out without waiting in line, because thats how cashiers do it. Sometimes there is two registers opened, then all of a sudden one closes and you”re fucxxxd. The cashier just walks away to take care of something else. It’s one big mess that nobody is paying attention to. They need to focus on how customers as number one, not their matters behind the counter. The owner is focused on making money not on customer service.

These guys never stop working, and it shows in the quality of their food every time. My wife and her family are polish and we enjoy Halinka’s menu so much, it brings us back to her grandmother’s cooking. This Christmas Eve they fit us in for catering and worked all day to fulfill orders. Food delicious as always – highly recommend!!
