The coffee and tea shop is not only pleasant on the eyes, with beautiful decorations and thoughtful layout, but the smell of hot, roasting beans hitting your nose is truly an experience. I went inside and was greeted warmly, and had plenty of varieties of tea, coffee, tea pots and mugs, to browse. Not only was the selection great, but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me a great recommendation based on teas I already knew I enjoyed. They have a range of sizes and packaging, so you can buy a little to sample at home, and if you like it, you can get plenty more. They do wonderful loose leaf teas and bagged teas. The entire experience was pleasant, and I’ll be sure to stop back for more, and I hope the staff and owners know they’re doing a wonderful service. I wouldn’t change a thing!

I have been buying Hallowed Grounds coffee for over 15 years. It is the only coffee I use. I moved out of state and it is still the only coffee I use. I now have my family and friends using Hallowed Grounds as well. Kathy and her family are the best! Thank you for all you do!

Charming. Great selection of in-house roasted coffee. Lots of loose teas. A few desserts like biscotti, but the real treats are the employees–so friendly and helpful. This place is a hidden gem, worth the drive if you’re in the Pittsburgh area.

Really cool place for both coffee and tea! This was our first time here & the staff was friendly & helpful. Love the frozen blended French Toast coffee I tried this morning & my Husband enjoyed his frozen blended Bailey’s Irish Fudge. We can’t wait to try the ground coffee we picked up. We will definitely be going back!

Delicious coffee. It’s hard to find flavored decaf, and their selection is outstanding! They have a lot more than coffee, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Best chai lattes around! Do yourself a favor and stop in at Hallowed Grounds. You will be glad you did.
