This place was so good! And the lady that helped us was SO sweet. Even though she didn’t speak a lot of English, she was still able to communicate easily to us. Skills! Not once did I see her stop working. If she’s not servicing clients, she’s cleaning.

Delicious, authentic, very traditional Korean dishes. It’s a win every time! The owners are nice and on the ball. I love their bossam the best but really all the dishes are delicious! The cod fish stew 대구매운탕 is fresh and spicy and one of the best in town.

It’s been about 2 years since I’ve been here…seems there was an ownership change since the food was different and decor updated. For me this was between a 3 and 4 star. Food taste wise, I would give it a 3 because the pork back stew was bland. This used to be their specialty and so flavourful. But now it was bland and watery. The boiled pork belly was also a bit bland. The extra star to give it a 4 star was the value. We got a set menu for $65 and so much food for 4 people.

We got the complete table special combo set menu where you get to selection a dish from each category of dishes. The bossam (Napa wraps with pork) and pan-fried mackerel were both very good – would definitely order again. The spicy codfish hot pot was not spicy and not salty enough so it tasted watered down. The steamed tofu and egg were decent but nothing special.

My friend and I arrived at the restaurant about 30 min after their dinner opening time. We ordered the special combo but we were notified that most of our choices were not ready to serve. Some of them needed another hour or so, and some of them were not served now. Hmm…. ok, then we ordered 3 separate dishes, but it turned out that two of them were not available either. Actually only a few dishes in the menu were available. We just ended up with one dish. Maybe we had a unlucky day, but it’s very disappointing that the most of food we ordered were not available. Also, the menu linked here is out of date. The prices in the menu are increased especially for the combo.

Mediocre food, HORRIBLE service! We ordered large set for 3 people so had lots of leftover. Asked and PAID for 2 togo containers. When 2 containers were not enough, asked for one more and offered to pay, waitress REFUSED to give more. Very bizarre…
