First timer here! I’ve had this restaurant saved in my “want to go” tab and I forgot about it. I searched Hawaiian food, and there you were. I had the small garlic shrimp plate with double macaroni salad, and it was amazing! I’ll definitely be back!!

I have been here at least once a month for the past 6 months. All I can say is that you have got to try it! The poke bar is more than a deal! The servers walk you through their “make your poke bowl.” You get the choice from a lot of veggies, as well as all the protein that makes poke what it is today. Maybe I’ll see you there one day! Lol

This place is an absolute gem! The Poke bowls are always fresh and packed to the brim. I’ve tried other places but nothing compares to the quality and quantity at Halo. The BBQ plates are also amazing and come with their delicious macaroni salad. The service is always fast and friendly. If you’re in the area give this spot a try!

People were friendly, clean establishment. However, I’m from Hawaii and this place was disappointing. I ordered a bbq chicken and kalua pork plate. I’m 99% sure we got shredded/slow cooked chicken instead of pork. It wasn’t salty like how kalua is supposed to be. It literally looked like shredded chicken. Their teriyaki and katsu sauce was super watered down. Their poke bowl is not what you would find back home. Too many unnecessary add ons. I’m obviously biased. Food didn’t taste bad it just wasn’t what they said they are.

Sorry to say this but I was so disappointed! I ordered the Kalua pork plate and a spam musubi. The others in my party ordered the mix BBQ plate and the loco moco. The Mac salad and rice were good, but the pork was terrible. It was dry, chewy and flavorless, it lacked the salt and the slight hint of smokey flavor that is in authentic Hawaiian pork. It just tasted like chunks of meat that were boiled in unsalted water. The spam musubi was okay. I give one star to the Mac salad and rice and the other star is for the kind and friendly service from the staff.

The lady working here was literally so sweet. They give you everything you want in the poke bowl for a flat price. They also loaded the bowl up with all my toppings and fish, so one poke bowl literally fed me for two meals ❤️ ❤️
