From the moment you enter the door, you are greeted with the aromas of food cooking (your food is cooked to order). If she’s there, Kay personally greets you, takes your order and ensures that you are satisfied with the fare…. And let me tell you, we were VERY satisfied!!! I strongly recommend her banana pudding (she makes that herself).

It was absolutely refreshing to order food from a place where everyone was genuinely nice. Like most parents I have kids that think the only thing worthy of eating are chicken nuggets and these chicken nuggets were very good. The onion rings were excellent also.

Had a most delicious meal. First of all the owner and staff were so kind and courteous. I had such a comfortable feeling when I ordered. The fried chicken and basa were beyond reproach. Seasoned to perfection! Not salty at all but full of flavor. We will DEFINITELY visit again soon!

I love walking into an establishment and the owners personally introduced theirselves and take your order. Mr. and Mrs. Kay you guys are the MVP’S of small businesses. The first thing I said once I got out the car “dang, she got it smelling like this out here?! Smells like a good ol family function!” The food is seasoned & cooked to perfection! The sock it to me cake will make you want to slap your mama! The customer service is amazing as well. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

The wings here are sooo good! Nice and crispy and that seasoning compliments the chicken so well. I did have the Chicago sauce on the side (not pictured) and it has a nice little kick, not too spicy which I love. The mac n cheese is homemade and perfectly cheesy! They are not doing dine in right now due to Covid which is fine. You order at the window and they’ll call your order number when it’s ready. I’ll definitely be back to try other menu items.

Well.. this meal cost me about $30. Because I’m supporting black businesses & heard only great things about Kays I felt it was worth it. The lemon pepper seasoning is what saved the chicken & everything else was pretty bland. I was hoping for batter fried shrimp but these seem to be flour breaded. The signature sauce was pretty good! But aye let me stop critiquing. Overall I’m not too happy I spent that much & didnt have the same experience as so many others but not really regretful. I’ll still recommend them just make sure your food is cooked fresh thats all. Their great customer service is what I appreciated the most, thats hard to come by.
