Hambone’s is the place to be. Live Music, great food, great owners, and employees. I really was pleasantly surprised. I was offered several suggestions by the owners and I went with the Boss Burger with fries and onion rings. I heard the Catfish is to die for. Definitely is on my list to try next visit. There is a vegan and vegetarian options. These guys offer half -priced lunch to our first responders, all military active or retired. Just be in uniform or have your ID. 6am to 5pm. The bathrooms spotless, and the grounds clean. They are kid friendly and pet friendly just make your date, kids, or dogs mind. Don’t even try to order while you are on the phone. Leave the phones and enjoy the view. Beautiful sunset Conversations flowed, and the crowd stayed for the live music. The set up and the concept is neat. First time here but it won’t be my last. Get you a T-shirt and hat. Love mine thanks guys can’t wait to go back. A must go on my places we will go list.

Our first trip to Hambone’s but not our last. Delicious from the first bite. We had the “Hambone” and the “Boss” and both were cooked to perfection. And finding they have fried okra as a side choice was an added bonus. Hubby tried the homemade potato chips—delicious. A unique venue with a variety of options for dining in. We chose the cute little air conditioned cottage but may sit out at the picnic tables when the weather cools. The staff was friendly and brought our meals to us in less than the predicted 15 minutes. Find them on the east edge of Manor off 290 as you head toward Elgin.

Ordered a side of hush puppies and received only 6 which at $3.50 seems skimpy to say the least. Ordered one of their southwestern burgers with NO MAYO and adding mustard but received both mustard and mayo. Willing to give this place another shot but not happy with my first experience.

I’ve passed this place a couple of times on my way to Elgin and back from Austin for my son’s baseball practice. Been wanting to try it so we went tonight after practice, but didn’t realize they closed at 8. We arrived at 7:53 and as we walked up saw the sign that says “no orders after 7:30” so my son and I were going to leave. I’d imagine the owner or manager saw us about to leave and yelled over to the counter and told them to take our order. I turned and asked if he was sure, it was our fault for coming so late, he said no problem. We ordered and got our food rather quickly, the burgers were great, and the hush puppies with the butter and honey dipping sauce were great as well. I’d recommend this place especially for them fitting us in so late. Thanks!!

This is A MUST!!! Burgers, baskets, salads and all day breakfast! The truffle fries, hush puppies and onion rings are amazing. HIGH quality meat and other foods. Indoor & outdoor seating in this untraditional food truck set up.

This is a definite must for burger fans! Had the boss and it was delicious. Lots of seating outdoors as well as an indoor air conditioned space. You won’t go home hungry after eating here.

Whether you are in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place has you covered. We’ve tried the burgers, hot dogs, omlettes, and the biscuits n’ gravy..everything was fantastic. The only thing better than the food is the customer service! You MUST check this place out.
