The two dinner plates were excellent. Chicken was not dry, and the ribs were not over cooked. Very pleased to finally have Bar-b-que done right. Will definitely return again.

First time here and we will definitely be back. The food was incredible and worth every penny. The cheesecake bites were to die for!

I went to visit while in the area. I saw the reviews and they were good so I wanted to give them a try. I got the tri tip poe boy. The sauce is served on the side witch is great so you can put as much as you want on your dish. The tri tip itself was not hot, luke warm at best and had little seasoning or flavor. So then if the meat has no flavor the rest of the sandwich does too. I would visit again but order something different but how this was my first time. I was disappointed with the whole experience.

This the the first time that I have had to write an unfavorable review but I believe in being 100 percent honest about my experience. We placed an order for takeout and upon getting to the hotel, the food was lukewarm to say the least but that was the least of the issues. The meat all tasted like burnt wood. The brisket and the chicken. There was no BBQ char to it; just the taste of what burnt wood would smell like. We couldn’t eat it. The hotlinks tasted boiled, no char, no BBQ, nothing and managed to at least finish some of those. The kicker was the corn on the cob. When we unraveled the foil, it was not only overboiled to death, but there was angel hair as though someone did not know how to properly husk and clean the corn which we ended up throwing away. The only salvaged part to the meal was the mac and cheese, greens and cornbread. What we ended up with was upset stomachs later into the night and this morning. Overall, horrific experience. I get there are mishaps, but not to this extent. We have dined here before; both inhouse and takeout but this by far was the worse dining experience ever. Perhaps quality control of the food was missing; no one to ensure the food was good to go before packing it up and sending it out. What we paid for failed to meet any expectations.

Food is great. You are not allowed to dine in, but takeout. Call ahead. It’s a 45min wait. Other than that fantastic food. I got sweet tea was good. BBQ sauce has a good kick to it. We ate right outside in the back there was public seating available, but not a lot of it.

Finally had a bad experience here and it was an extreme disappointment. I should have known when they called with a list of what they didn’t have, this was about to be all bad. The location didn’t have raspberry vinaigrette dressing for the raspberry vinaigrette salad. And obviously nothing else that went on the salad either, because all we got was some hot pecans on top of a half a bowl of lettuce. Half of my large baked beans was all liquid. There was only a few slices of brisket in my 1lb of meat and the rest was all sauce. Half of which was in the bag and all over everything because it wasn’t packaged in a sealed container. The “garlic mashed potatoes” are doubtful to be made with actual potatoes. They consistency is more like the box flakes where you just add water. And they completely forgot the spice for the Spicy black eyed peas. The peach cobbler was dry and overcooked. In previous orders, the food was not only good, but well prepared and packaged. But, this was an overall horrible experience this time. Please know though, the food is too hefty, sauced and expensive for the meat to be served in foam containers with 2 cups of sauce. Maybe it was an off day or you need to go and take a serious look at who was working and preparing orders 10/8/21. And just because we did take out, does not give you the right to screw your customers.

If you are looking for an authentic southern BBQ then look no further. Hambone’s cooks their brisket perfectly, they use top quality beef cuts so they start off right with the best ingredients. The brisket is cooked/smoked for 12 hours and is absolutely delicious with a good bark on it. Don’t look any further if you want the best brisket around. Their pulled pork is amazing as well. They make their own sauces and they are spot on for flavor and texture. Overall, their food meets or beats your southern BBQ desires. We ordered brisket for a catered event as well and everyone at the party had only good things to say about it. The restaurant interior is comfortable with some flat screen TV’s to watch sports. There is free parking all around the restaurant too! I’ve posted pictures of the inside and outside. Yum Yum Yum!

Very disappointed! These pictures only count for a small portion of my disappointment from spending $65 on this mess. The food was absolutely gross. Not sure if maybe it was just an off day today but yuck! I ordered the fish dinner as well as the 3meat dinner. Nothing had any flavor. The fish seemed as though it was fried in old oil. The crust was hard and not attached to the fish itself. The pulled pork was not cooked thoroughly neither were the baby back ribs. As you can see in the pictures the mashed potatoes were boxed and basically watered down. The cornbread was burnt (taste and smell) It crumbled to the touch. The yams had a decent taste however they were so watery to where they just melted and had to be scooped with a spoon. There was absolutely no substance to them. This was by far the worst experience I had with hambones. The one on Alondra wasn’t the best but it was never this bad.
