Had dinner at The Hamburger Barn in Arkadelphia, AR. I walked in and as the hostess was walking me to a table my server Georgia was introducing herself. I asked her for some recommendations and decided to try the Combo Appetizer and Red Smoke Chicken dinner. The appetizer was pretty good but I liked the mushrooms much more than the onion rings and the homemade ranch dipping sauce was awesome. The dinner was really good and the chipotle bacon had a nice kick and really enhanced the dish. You could easily tell the mashed potato and gravy side was homemade…it was delicious. This place serves up great food in a comfortable place and Georgia was a pleasure to meet.

Great service at lunch. Excellent choices besides just burgers. Best chili dog I’ve had in years. Especially from anyone else cooking besides myself. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone local or just passing through.

Worst food I’ve ever ate. Ordered the mushroom swiss burger and it was soggy and had a mountain of mushroom that was bigger than the burger. Waited never came and checked on us for refills. We ordered a desert that we didn’t even get because the burgers were awful. The cheese was shredded cheese and not sliced and the lettuce was shredded brown lettuce. The patty was two times smaller than the soggy buns for such a high price. Up charge for fires which was the only thing I ate. Also we didn’t get any refund to help make it right. Ripoff!

Stopped here on our way to Hot Springs. Burgers were really good. While you do not get many, the onion rings were solid as well. The batter for the onion rings and fried mushrooms was much thicker than we have at home but we enjoyed them. Service was attentive and friendly.

Stopped here for late lunch on the way home from camping at crater of diamonds and this food was the highlight of our weekend!!!!! Giant fried cheese sticks and fried mushrooms were so so good! Our burgers were so good! Best mushroom Swiss burger I’ve ever had!! And the onion rings had the best batter I’ve ever had! Awesome waitress and great service! We’ll make a trip back just to eat here!!!!
