The food is amazing every time. I just tried the beef steak with spaghetti and WOW!!! Most importantly for me, the vibe is much nicer than some other food places in the plaza. Men aren’t hanging out outside, and there’s a space for sisters to eat that is blocked off and partitioned for women to feel safe and secure eating inside. It’s an inviting and calm atmosphere.

Sometimes it’s hit and miss with the food. I’ve gone and the food was wonderful, I’ve gone during a less busy time and the food was terrible. Generally because it’s not freshly cooked so the meat dry and rice dry and warm. The other day we were intentionally served the wrong sandwiches (asked for chicken they gave us beef) because they didn’t want to cook more. Then when we took them back the response was ‘well if you want chicken it’s gonna be about 20 minutes’ we waited and the sandwiches were fabulous. I will go back and do recommend it BUT if it’s not busy be sure to insist the food is cooked fresh. Chicken sukhar is delicious! Parking is HORRIFIC when the plaza is busy.

Food is always good but, depending on who’s behind the counter, hospitality could be a bit more inviting. NOT necessarily rude or unpleasant, and perhaps it’s just East African frankness that one may not culturally be accustomed to, but a smile and eye contact goes a long way.

They will give you food without water ..and if you adk for it ..they will say we have bottles of water only and you have to pay for it like a dollar each… 2020 is almost here and people still cant make a difference between a reatautant and a grocery store . Lol ill give it one star ..the server litterally was poking his nose after he served me ..he sat exactly next to me and start digging the minerals from his nose …ughhhhh .. what a bad experience .
