I’ve been to Japan twice. I won’t waste your time. Give them your money. I’ve spent plenty of time eating sushi and being disappointed. This was not that. The soba was superb and the sushi brought me back to Osaka. The prices are fair for the quality. Enjoy!

Prices are pretty great compared to most asian/japanese places around. Service was also good. If I had come and just gotten the cold soba, it would have been a five star experience. However, I also ordered the golden shrimp appetizer, which was extremely disappointing. They gave three extremely skinny pieces of shrimp with the brown veins still in it. They were probably about as wide as a small pencil and were drowning in golden sauce. It was basically impossible to eat since it was 95% golden sauce with three sad tiny pieces of shrimp. My partner ordered the chicken katsu meal. The grilled vegetables were great, but my partner had really bad food poisoning after eating the chicken and was sick the entire next day. Really sad since I really wanted to like this place but I probably will not be back. Cold soba was very good though, so maybe just avoiding the meats is a good recommendation for this place. Lastly, it is just odd that their entire place has tons of beer posters and ads and when i asked what beers they had they said they dont serve alcohol… which is fine but a bit misleading considering there were three huge Sapporo posters in the front window.

In all the years we have been coming to Hanabi we’ve never found better sushi! Always fresh, always high-quality, even the edamame is better than anywhere else. Special rolls are all great, and the basic rolls are all too-notch as well. I wish we lived closer, I would order all the time!

Amazing and fresh sushi!! As a local, I have tried countless other sushi places in the area and can wholeheartedly say no other sushi compares to Hanabi’s. The fish is always very fresh and the sushi is made with little rice so you can taste the fish. I’ve never had a bad experience here and continue to order sushi from here at least once a month. My personal favorite rolls are the LA roll and the Hanabi roll. Please go check them out if you haven’t for some delicious sushi! You won’t regret it!

When the pandemic hit, this was one of the first places I chose to support. They forgot two of my items for delivery, and originally made it seem like I would just get those items deducted from my bill. When the charges cleared for the full amount, I had to get angry on the phone for them to finally offer me an actual refund, but only if I came and picked it up from them, not back on my card. All of this with extreme attitude, as if I had done something wrong.

This is a very authentic Japanese restaurant. The sushi was extremely fresh and delicious! I also LOVED how the waitstaff were not jumping down your throat and overly aggressive. They would always come at the right times. Sushi is a delicacy that should take time to eat and not feel rushed! You can definitely taste how much handy work went into making each piece! Highly recommend and will return soon.

First visit, sat outside. Great idea, they brought a button to push to call for someone, which meant no hovering waiter! That’s a good thing in my book. Sushi was excellent, and enjoyed a plate full of rolls. Great place to enjoy a birthday dinner celebration.
