Very unassuming little place but holy moly are the sandwiches good! Everyone at the counter was patient as I poured over the menu, they made suggestions and were overall very helpful. The sandwiches really are handcrafted and made with care. It’s nothing fancy, just paper plates and a few small tables but comfortable and clean. I did wait about 15 minutes for my sandwich at peak lunch time but it’s worth the wait.

Best sandwiches in Vermont. My order is simple just turkey, mayo and tomato, but the meat is so good it doesn’t need anything else. Don’t sleep on their cookies. Oatmeal is delicious. They have on the street parking. Like the surrounding area.

Definitely think you should check this place out if you’re in the Rutland area. It was a little out of our way but someone else’s review that mentioned a delicious Reuben intrigued us. I got the Reuben, my wife got the Rachael (which is a Reuben but with turkey instead of corned beef), and my kids got BLTs. All of the sandwiches were great. Food wise, these guys are 5 stars.
