good hand rolls at a fair price but you can tell the initial upscale appearance is just a facade and it’s actually just a casual restaurant. the place looked a little run down even though it’s still fairly new. overall, pretty good spot with good food but it’s more casual than it initially leads you to be.

Delicious rolls plus club music! We tried all 10 rolls except the smoked uni (which we generally dislike), plus the albacore tataki. Good amount of food for two.

Woah! Stop reading, just make the reservation. Nice staff and great tasting hand rolls. Enjoy the 7-roll option or just try everything on the menu lol. If you are a fan of wasabi, get the pickled wasabi. Best I’ve ever had!

I love ju-ni so wanted to try this restaurant. Very bright white lights and small selection of sake. No dry sake or sake by the glass. Ordered the 10 piece set. Ok flavors but uni was not great. There was a strong smell of fish that was off putting in the restaurant. I did have the first seating on a Wednesday after being closed for 2 days. I was seated by the door and people were waiting for their seat with the door open in a small space. Afterwards my hands smelled like old fish and washing my hands 3 times still couldn’t remove the smell. Never had that experience at sushi restaurants or tskiji where you pick up the fish with your hands not chopsticks.

Great casual experience, value for the cost is pretty good especially if you like handrolls. The only filler pieces were the crab and spicy tuna, they could really stand to spruce those up. Everything else was pretty good. Stand outs included the three ikura rolls (especially the smoked uni one), hotate, otoro, hamachi. The pickled wasabi is also delicious and a really nice touch.

Good, delicious handrolls and the pickled wasabi was the highlight. I really liked the creamy scallop, chef’s poke and toro handrolls the most. Overall, it’s worth it to try but would not come again

I was very excited to try this place because of the hype and it’s by the Ju-Ni team.

Over-hyped and not worth the cost!! If I’m being honest, my favorite part was just the pickled wasabi.
