We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints!! A long time lover of the brisket and dry rubbed wings, most recently tried the Thai chili cauliflower and it was a show stopper, I highly recommend. They recently added whiskey flights to the menu which will keep us coming back for more. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Follow their social media for specials like the spicy Mac n cheese bites.

Amazing food. The brisket was tender, the ribs flavorful, and even the pickles were great. I would like to add some course salt to my brisket but otherwise, everything is great. There is a bar as well with beer on tap. The staff is friendly and checks in on you. The 2 restrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. They sell merch as well.

I drove up to Newburgh to give this place a try since my former favorite BBQ place down in Westchester continued to disappoint. Man I am sure happy I did! This place is as close to BBQ perfection as you can get in NY. From perfectly cooked smoked meats to the insanely huge bourbon and rye selection to the amazing deserts. Needless to say I will continue to make a pilgrimage to my new found favorite BBQ place in NY!

There’s great restaurants all around us, but every now and again you have the sincere pleasure of stumbling onto the one that changes you. Handsome Devil is one of those rare gems. The owner and his staff have poured their pride and love into everything here. The brisket is perfection with a sauce that rides the carefully crafted line of not too sweet and not too spicy. The Smoked Turkey with Alabama BBQ sauce was downright killer. The cornbread was moist in the center with a crisp crust and was packed with flavor. Potato salad that gets better with every bite. And don’t forget the sweets! Hand pies, carrot cake with buttermilk icing, banana pudding and more! I’m a chef but these folks are true artists. Make this restaurant your new fav as I know it’s now mine!

Wow is all I can say after eating this amazing BBQ. From the moment we got our bourbon till the banana pudding we were blown away. The staff, the food, and the beverages were all way above what we expected. This place is a must go! It has outdoor and indoor dining, great space for two top or 30 top. I can’t say enough good about this place. If you like real deal BBQ just go. You will love it as much as I have. I just left and want to go right back again. Hands down the best BBQ in NY. It just doesn’t get any better than what they are doing there.

I tried their smoked turkey. It was more dry than expected but edible. I also had some Saint Louis ribs. It came off the bones and were delicious. I finished with the Texas Hot Links. Very good. For sides, I had the apple pie baked beans which were yummy but their Carolina cole slaw was average. Overall, pricey but worth one time.

I catered food for a BBQ. The food was hot, packaged well and delicious. It was ready shortly after we arrived to pick it up. Everyone loved the ribs and pulled pork. They also supplied extra sauces for the pork and wings. I definitely would go back

We ordered the brisket with Mac and cheese, coleslaw and corn bread. The brisket was perfect! We haven’t had a good brisket since we lived in Astoria. Hands down, BEST corn bread around! We will definitely be ordering from here again.
