Oh man, Hangry Joe’s is one of my favorite spots. By far, this place has one of the top CHICKEN SANDWICH in the area and beyond. Chick Fil A and Popeye’s fell way behind. Sorry guys, but it’s the truth. There is no comparison. Great customer service and very helpful answering questions. Good for the whole family. Price is moderate. I strongly suggest.

Chicken sandwich size was great. Hot and fast. Taste was good as well. With our meal we got 7 full pieces of waffle fries. Ridiculous. Specially comparing with the other halal options in the area with roaming roosters and wooboi. We have eaten here before and never had this amount of fries given to us. When I went to the front to ask about it he says this Is what you get with the meal. I don’t think it was right to give that amount to begin with but also don’t think it was right how it was handled.

Doesn’t look like much when you walk in, but chicken was surprisingly good!! Highly recommend the chicken sandwich and waffle fries. The spicy soy Korean style chicken comes with white rice and also very tasty. Looking forward to going back and trying a bubble tea or milkshake some time.

First try for this restaurant by ordering from door Dash. Really tasty fried chicken. Got the chicken Sando and it was very tasty with lots of seasoning and flavor but it was spicy even with mild choice . It was also a good size sandwich and fries. Definitely what I was expecting when I ordered. I like the packaging .

Just happened to stumble across one in in a different city only 2 days ago and it was so good i had to find the next nearest one! I thought it was on the pricier side at first (before I ordered and saw the portion size)… It was such a great deal!!! 3 of us ate off $20, this price doesnt include the Groupon which knocked $10 off my total (I only got chicken no sides or drinks). This location does not sell chicken thighs and legs, like the other one I went to. I have tried the “Not Spicy” (which is not spicy at all) and the “Mild” (which has just a little heat you taste after you already swallowed the food). The tenders are legit cuts of large chicken breast, not over fried or breaded. Definitely juicy. The seasoning is well and not overpowering. The sauce is made in-house and is also delicious, I taste honey mustard mixed and other things. Not gonna lie, writing this makes me so Jelous because I don’t have one where I live. Do yourself a favor, if it isn’t out your way, try it! They also sell some groovy teas with seeds at the bottom and milk…I didn’t want to try, that’s not my thing to mix dairy in teas, but they also had smoothies etc. And they have a touchscreen ordering system, pretty high tech. All the staff was nice and restrooms, dining area clean. Everything is cooked to order, but the wait isn’t long, 10 mins and someone brought the food to my table. If you like chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches or chicken wings come here to get your fix.

I visited on a Tuesday evening to try this relatively new chicken place conveniently located close to a favorite eatery. The ordering kiosk proved easy to navigate, and I believe I could have placed my order with friendly attendants if I wished. The interior looks clean and well maintained. I ordered a medium heat chicken tenders and waffles along with side orders of fries, cole slaw, and an extra waffle and a peach iced tea. My food was ready in about ten minutes, and I took my trays outside to eat (the music inside struck me as a tad loud and distracting).

We have been wanting to try Hangry Joes since they opened and finally did. Wow am I bummed we waited this long. SO GOOD!! The portions are huge, tons of value. We did takeout and they were so considerate, bagging each item separately first and then putting them all into a big bag. Two chicken sandos, chicken bites, waffle fries, and fried okra. They’re all a 10 out of 10. Chicken is fresh and perfectly friend. So much flavor! Cannot wait to go back.
