Amazing! We came because of the reviews on BringFido. Not disappointed. Super easy to enter the patio from a side gate to the left of the main entrance. Was told by a friendly local in line that Hank’s was the best local spot. Excellent local beer. Delicious pizza. Would definitely come back again.

One of my favorite bars in the world. I lived in Tacoma for 5+ plus years and the amount of nights I spent at the Hanks patio is more then I would like to say, but I wouldn’t take a single one back. From birthday parties to the World Cup to a much needed Wednesday beer Hanks is your spot. Tasty cheap drinks in a clean environment that will be calling you back for warm summer nights. I’m leaving Tacoma tomorrow for a new city and I needed one last drink at Hanks before I leave. Thanks for the memories!

Great little hidden gem in the heart of the residential area of Stadium/North End of T Town. Great outdoor seating adornedwith grape vines, but the inside has several tvs for those more rainy days. Staff is friendly and helpful…full bar with several beers on tap with a limited but nice and varied food menu.

This is definitely bar food if I was drunk the calzon would have been amazing, but since I was sober I definitely had food regret but for 1am in the morning it filled me. But I will say the hospitality is definitely 5 star I asked for to go utensils and she gave me a real fork to take to my hotel.

The dynamite pizza was great, the pretzels are good (with the cheese sauce you can upgrade that to amazing) and they have TVs outside as well as inside. Pretty good tap list. All and all I would highly recommend you will have a good time.

I’ve always had a at at time at Hanks. It’s definitely a nice neighborhood tavern where it’s comfortable and the food and drinks are good. The patio is dog friendly and they keep it heated during the winter. It’s common on any given evening to see some cute pups chilling with their owners. As a dog lover I’m all for that!! We also love taco Tuesday!!
