There’s a reason this place has a 5 star overall rating!! The pizza was hot and fresh! Me and my husband ordered a half pepperoni/ half supreme and the owner thought my half was cooked more than my husbands half, so in addition she made me a whole separate pepperoni pizza for free!! How considerate and kind was that? She was truly concerned about my satisfaction with her product as a custom customer! All of it was delicious!! I would definitely eat here again because the cheese and spice blend was really tasty and the thin crust was perfection! My husband loved his salad too! I will never forget the owners thoughtfulness!!

I’m from Ohio where we have great pizza and Italian food with a large Italian population to make it. I’ve lived in FL and VA for many years. One thing I’ve found is the South doesn’t have the best pizza/Italian food and that’s being polite. I’ve been in RVA for about 15 years and have yet to find what I would consider a 5 star pizza…..until now. Hanover Pie Company has excellent pizza. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza. The crust was perfection. I will never settle for any other pizza in RVA.

Ordered and got there and they were closed when I came to pick up my order. Called and they apologized for the trouble, and asked if I could wait. Of course not thrilled, but needed dinner. Got a drink at the tavern next door while I waited. Things happen sometimes, so you roll with it and make the best of it. Discounted me for my trouble and let me say…worth the wait! Definitely cannot get better pizza in Hanover County. Crust was perfect. Not sure how I’m just finding this place. And the stuffed cheesy bread is incredible too….like surprisingly good. Will definitely be back soon!

The pizza is tremendous and you can tell they worked hard to get the dough just the right amount of crispy. The calzones are the best that I have ever had and I am a lifelong calzone lover. The prices are a bit higher but that is normally the case for local places. I’d rather my money go to locals anyway.

Ordered California Salad Pizza and a Hawaiian Pizza. Both were very delicious. Only complaint is price. $42 for 2 pizza pies is not affordable for the average family. Would order more often if it was affordable. Low rating due to pricing. This is Hanover, not New York.
