Love how they do the BBQ’ing for you at the table and each piece of meat is grilled to the perfect doneness! We were just busy eating from start till the end. Service is superb and it justifies the price they charge. The cold refreshing buckwheat soba noodle pairs perfectly with the savory BBQ meats.

Very few places use charcoal for BBQ, most use gas. I prefer the sweet smokiness and char you get from Hansung’s charcoal BBQ heat on the galbi. All entrees are excellent as well! Great for groups, but a reservation is essential on weekends.

I came in for a quick lunch and ordered the black bean noodles. The servers were friendly and accommodated my request for a quick meal. Food was good. Missing cucumber slices though.

Wow! After all these years, I have been enjoying Korean BBQ wrong! This place does its BBQing using coal, and that makes all the difference. The smoking from the coal just makes the meats insanely tasty, something you might not think would matter if you’ve been eating meats cooked by gas-powered flames like in almost all other Korean BBQ places. Granted, it’s expensive, but not really more so than other Korean BBQ places. You owe it to yourself if you enjoy Korean BBQ to try this if you haven’t had it before.

Went here few months ago with few people. Service was horrible. The waitresses ignored us when we asked for 2nd set of side dishes and had to ask multiple times while they walked by. Then they seemed really annoyed by our requests and started being very rude.

Good service and tasty meats but I don’t feel it’s worth the price. Each order of meat is quite pricey and though the quality is good I don’t think it’s good enough to justify how expensive it is compared to the numerous AYCE places that have comparable taste and many more options. We ordered the wagyu ribeye steak ($49), prime brisket ($28.99), and pork belly (27.99). The ribeye and brisket were both really good. I especially liked the ribeye which was super tender, juicy, and melts in your mouth. But I wasn’t super impressed with the pork belly which won’t be directly grilled on your grill unless you order 2+ and just tasted like any other pork belly you could order for cheaper elsewhere. The difference I guess is the meat here is cooked with a charcoal grill.

This is a hidden gem. The only Korean bbq place that I can find with charcoal grill. The aroma is so good and the quality of meat is excellent. The service is best in town and everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Just not sure why it is not as popular as Jang Su Jang, or Changdum. I love the place.

Authentic Korean BBQ. Galbi is good and well marbled. Sour and sweet pork and Jjampong are pretty good. You will be very well served one of the waitresses who is a professional grilling staff. The restaurant is old and dark but quiet and warm. My family is often celebrating something there.

Very delicious and authentic Korean bbq experience. Love that they use traditional charcoal instead of just gas. Marinated beef ribs are def my favorite.
